Chapter 34 Meeting

"Fairy Tail is going up first and then it's your match...so far, we have the lead by first battle." Lucy explained. "So Wendy...we'll do our best, okay?"

"Hai!" Wendy grins.

"Let's give the other guilds a show they won't forget!" Lucy was pumped up and excited. She turns to look at Lucifer and smiles. "I won't fail you on this! I am not weak anymore."

"Lucy..." Lucifer smiles as she feels him place his hands on her waist and pulls her close to him. She blushes a bit as he leans his head on hers. "...you were never weak."

"..." Lucy couldn't say anything as he gave her a quick kiss and they pull away. She was so embarrassed since Wendy and Carla were watching. "..I-Idiot.."

"Yeah...I know." Lucifer chuckles and this time. Lucy couldn't help but smile.

"And what did I do to deserve a great and supportive boyfriend?" Lucy smiled and this time, it was Lucifer blushing. She smiles and grabs Wendy's hand. "Let's go, Wendy. We need to be prepared for the battle."

"Ok..." Wendy smiled. Lucy stops for a second at the door and turns around to smile again at Lucifer. He simply stands there for a second before grinning like a little kid.

---Later---

"HERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS! A TWO ON TWO BATTLE! ON THE NEW ARRIVING GUILD, SHADOW OUTCASTS...WE HAVE WENDY MARVELL AND...LUCY HEARTFILIA!" the announcer shouts as Lucy and Wendy walk into the arena to see two men standing at the center. Lucy realizes those are their opponents and she pulls her hood on.

"Are you ready?" Wendy asked her nervously.

"I am...are you nervous?" Lucy asked Wendy as they stop.

"A little." Wendy said.

"Don't be...you have me...we'll protect each other." Lucy smiled and it must've given Wendy confidence because she turns and got a battle stance towards their opponents, who were walking towards them.

"Look at what we have here, brother." One of the men spoke with a smirk.

"I see, brother." The other man replied.

"THIS WILL BE A MAGIC BATTLE! NO PHYSICAL HITS WITH ANY OF THE BODY!" Lucy couldn't help but smirk.

"Hey...Wendy, can you do a sky dragon roar?" Lucy asked her.

"I spent months practicing on causing that to make craters!" Wendy grins.

"...Ok...open fire!" Lucy shouted but noticed the bow and arrows their opponents have, the bows and arrows were magic as they appear out of thin air. "Wendy!"

"Huh?" Wendy said while she was sucking up air. The arrows are fired but Lucy jumps in front of Wendy...summoning her Shadow Magic to create a massive barrier. The arrows are then blocked and the men were so surprised.

"What in the world?!" Wendy cried out as she sees the barrier was three times taller than her. Lucy uses her opponent's surprise as an advantages and fires Shadow Blast towards them through the barrier. But instead of hitting them directly, she aimed at the floor in front of them to blind their view.

"Wendy! Dragon roar...now!" Lucy shouted as she drops the barrier and creates shadow like missiles in front of Wendy. She wanted Wendy to give the finishing blow.

"Sky...Dragon..." Wendy said as she takes a deep breath...and releases her magic at full blast..." Rooooaaarrr!"

"Huh-AHHHH!!" the men could only see the missiles and the dragon roar right in front of them and-

BOOOMM!!

It impacts at them...Lucy and Wendy hug each other with happiness when they saw their opponents on the floor unconscious.
