Kirito[Spawn]

You wanted to help Daiko get stronger, so you started him out on the smaller floors and let him get stronger progressively. When he reached level 21, he wanted to do his own exploring. So you gave him the item and told him not to give it to anyone else.  But one day, there was a mishap.

You and him made a guild together, a small one. So you knew when the other was in trouble. Across the map on floor 12, you saw a skull and crossbones where he was training. He had died.

You hurried over to the site, hoping that it was just a glitch in the computer.

In a neat pile, where Daiko's body was incinerated, you saw his equipped weapons, his clothes, and the crystal.

You figured out that the crystal didn't work for anyone but you.

So you tried to commit suicide. You unequipped your crystal and left it for someone else to find. Then you jumped off the bridge.

When you woke up, you found yourself in the spawn, curled up. You checked your inventory and saw that the crystal was now permanently stitched in your inventory. You could not remove it. You could only check the stone to see how many lives you had left.

You curled up on your bed and closed your eyes. You could sometimes hear Daiko's laughter when you slept in his equipment. It was  a big, soft coat that covered you completely.

You heard your lock hastily picked and the door swung open and closed. You sat up and looked at the door. A black haired boy put a finger to his lips and looked out the peep hole.

Slowly, he relaxed and drank a potion. You eyed him for a while then stood up and said, "Do you need something?"

".....Can I stay here for the night?" he asked.

'He seems fine. It looks like he was running away from something.'

You nodded, "Yeah, sure. Do you want to sleep on the couch?"

He nodded and you helped him up. He's sleep bar was really down, his health was fine though. You set him on the couch and said, "What's your name?"

"....Kiri....to...." he muttered. Then he dozed off.

"All right Kirito, stay here for the night, we'll talk in the morning."

You started to leave him sleeping on the couch when he said, "....Don't leave."

He grabbed your wrist and pulled you next to him. Your breath caught and you blushed.

"Stay with me for the night..."

When you woke, you realized two things.

The first was that your back hurt, like a motherfucker.

The second was that Kirito, the black haired guy from last night was still hugging you. It was morning now and the sun was on your faces.

You sat up and shook him awake, "Oi.... Kirito...."

He opened his eyes and yawned. He sat up and said, "Thanks for letting me sleep here...."

"Why'd you want me to cuddle you?"

"Huh?" he asked rubbing his eyes.

"Why did you want me to cuddle you?"

"I did what?"

"Last night, you wanted to cuddle me. You told me to stay with you for the night."

"I must have been partially dreaming," he said, stretching.
