Romans 13:8-11 (KJV):
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
This passage means that, love is the greatest command: love is all you need. There are other things that of course you need to make your perfect recipe (e.g. Faith) but love is your most priceless ingredient that you must first attain.
Love is so important, it's what joins us all together and makes us one whole community. A lot of people nowadays have forgotten to love others and instead of love, they hate. Hate is what brings about sin and breaking of the law. But when you truly love, you have fulfilled the law (commandments).
Hate can come about when you still hold on to the past mistakes of others, or you hold resentment to other people.
God is love. Therefore us being God's beautiful creations we should reflect His love unto others. If the whole world were to love there wouldn't be wars and murder, we would all be able to live in peace and harmony.
Love starts from within the heart. When we are hard hearted and stubborn to accept change from within then we aren't able to love because we aren't allowing God to work through us.
Ezekiel 36:26:
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
God promises us that He will replace our hard hearts with a fleshy heart. But first we must be willing to let go of all our hurts and forgive those who have hurt us, and by doing this you will open up the door for God to work within your heart.
