Do you remember when you told me that you'd light the world on fire for me?

I longed for that to be true
Because I would set it on fire for you
And we forgot that
I was made of dead leaves and twigs
While you were made of metals
By lighting the world on fire
I burned with it
And you stayed there
Watching me burn
The only thing that changed was
You were slightly less cold
