At least he will never leave me.
My only friend
I can't even call him that.
He's not even real
He likes to see me hurt,
But he comforts me in the end.
And he lets me get better,
Well,
At least sometimes.
And tonight he's holding my hand.
Whispering words of comfort,
"Don't play with your pens babygirl,
You're enough for me."
He doesn't want to see my art,
He just wants to hold me.
Of course,
That means I will sit in silence,
In a silken sadness.
But at least he'll comfort me.
"They don't want you sweetheart,
Just listen to me.
You're not enough for them,
Don't hurt yourself and try.
They'll leave you like they did last time.
But I never left your side,
So stay with me."
And those words are enough
To keep me content for the night.
I almost forgot
I don't need anyone but myself.
Because he comes with me now,
His evil tendencies,
But his soothing words.
He knows how to control me,
But at least he loves me.
Because no one else will.
