Kellen POV;

Only her. I could only see her and her capturing grey eyes; everything else disappeared. Upon reaching the center of the dance floor I pulled her closer and was pleased at hearing her breath get caught. As I slipped my hand around her waist I made sure to gently run my hand along the satin material of her dress to the crook of her back, never taking my eyes from hers. In return she ran her hand gently up to my shoulder, leaving goose bumps under her touch; her other hand interlocking with mine and when the music started, we began a graceful dance.

If there was more applause I didn’t hear it. Hell! I’d forgotten there were people in the room. I had to know the name of such a Goddess though I wasn’t entirely sure I could speak. “So” I cleared my voice and her sparkling eyes made me forget what I was going to say momentarily. “W-what’s your name?” I stuttered; my gaze dropped to her lips as a secret smile made its way to her expression.

“Ana” her voice rang with melody and seduction. I could feel my heart rate going overtime and every muscle in my body become relaxed. She was like my drug! Her whole air and scent were intoxicating.

“Ana” I echoed smiling. “I’m Kellen… I’ve waited 2 years for you Ana, my mate.” As I said this the song we had been dancing had come to an end and with one last twirl so did our dance. On the last note of the song, I realized that loud applause now deafened the room.

“I didn’t know I had been waiting for you until I found you.” She replied softly causing my heart to skip two beats.

“Allow me introduce you to my family!” I grinned. I was too high from my drug and I didn’t want to come down, her breathtaking smile in return lit up the room. Slipping my hand around her waist and taking her hand I lead her over to where my family stood. My parents met my gaze with proud expressions; I had found my mate at last and they could see the happiness over flowing me. Maxim stood with Sophia next to Mom and Dad, grinning from ear to ear just like I was and gave me thumbs up. Arabelle looked as though she could barely contain her excitement, her face busting with the wide grin it wore.

Upon reaching them, my parents were about to speak when I felt Ana grip my hand tightly and suddenly say sharply “Wait!” my whole focus turned to her, my wolf growled, instinctively, knowing something was wrong.
