We ended up killing off the wendigos. Mostly it was Karmin and I killing them everyone else kinda stared and mimicked every once in a while. I held my bloody leg. I limped over to the door and kicked it enhancing the pain in my leg causing me to whimper louder. Elizabeth walked over to the door and opened it.

"It's opened." She began to walk through it.

"But how! He locked it! We already tried to open it before!" I was annoyed at how I never realized it was unlocked.

We all began to walk out the cursed room, well all except for Karmin. She looked around the room in confusion. I walked over to her to see the issue.

"There were twenty-seven, but only twenty-five bodies... hmm." She thought out loud.

"What are you talking about?"

"Nothing." She walked past me out the room. I limped behind her slowly starting to lose her in the darkness.

I heard a voice cry out in the darkness. Curious, I limped to it. It wasn't Karmin for sure, I lost her already. The voice was scratchy as if the person has been crying for the first time in years. It sounded like a person who just lost the most important thing in their life. Their purpose was now gone.

As I neared the door to the crying voice I heard a faint whisper. A familiar voice that made me freeze.

"Alexander..." A calm and soothing voice that sounded like the angles in heaven called out to me.

"M-Mother?" I darted my eyes around whilst staying still to try and see my mother.

"Alexander please... help me..."

I slightly turned my head away from the large wooden doors and over to the new found voice. I almost started walking towards it till I froze in realization, my mother hasn't spoken a word in years.

"Alexander please... follow me." The voice started to trail off as if it were trying to lead me in a certain direction. I ignored it.

"A-Alexander! H-Help me!" The voice shrieked as if it was about to be killed brutally. I was tempted to walk towards it, but I knew it couldn't have been mother.

"Alexander! You psychopath! Are you just going to let me die!" The impostor sounded enraged. I heard quick footsteps darting straight towards me. I quickly looked around the room at the sharpest object I could grab. I saw spears hanging on the wall as if they were decorations. I grabbed one of them to shield me if any attacker came near. It would have been great it these were in the dinning room when we really needed them.

"Psychopath!" at full speed a wendigo attempted to pounce at me but I was able to stab the spear at it's heart crushing the ice surrounding it and impaling the heart.

"Highly functioning, jackass." I stepped on it's head crushing the skull.

I entered the room with the sobbing man. It was the butcher. He was hunched over on his knees with his face in hand crying. I limped towards him and he peered through his hands and quickly stood up and faced me. He looked so broken, like he lost it all.

"P-Please... forgive me..." He stuttered shaking in fear and desperation.

"Forgive you?" I pondered that thought for a moment. Should I forgive him? He only tried to kill my family and I with a massacre of the planners he just freshly stole the humanity of. But, I bet he feels so very bad about it, like it was just one huge misunderstanding. Maybe he was just having a bad day?

"I was so... so lonely... so angry at the world... Please.. tell me you understand?" He tried to reason with me.

"And why would I understand you and your psychopathic tendencies?"

"Because, sociopaths... psychopaths... they-" I cut him off.

"Don't you ever fucking dare refer to me as one of those 'sociopaths.' I am no sociopath! That was a fucking lie Eugene made up! I function too highly to be one of those!" I starting breathing heavily in anger.

He gave me an odd look. "Why are you freaking out? You don't actually believe you're normal, do you?"

"Who the hell do you think you are!" I clenched tightly onto the spear in my hands. "Do you think I'm insane, mad, hysterical! Ha! You're the crazy one here!" I started to let out slight chuckles. I walked closer to him no longer limping. He backed away from me raising his hands to defend himself.

"What's wrong? Too scared to defend yourself from the maniac!" I chuckled louder, each time sounding less human than the last. The chuckles were uncontrollable. I don't even know what I'm laughing at. It was a strange sensation, I loved it.

"Alexander, please. Think about what you're doing here. Kings can't have blood on their hands, remember!?"

"Oh? Well it doesn't matter if no one sees, right?" He backed into a wall and I used the opportunity to start chocking him with the shaft of the spear.

As I slowly started to choke his life away, I heard someone run into the room. I quickly lowered the spear and turned to face the mysterious person. The person wasn't as mysterious as I thought, it was only Karmin.

"There! That little sicko! Did he hurt you Alex?"

"I'm fine." I replied calmly as if that whole event with the butcher never happened. She stormed over to the butcher and grabbed his collar.

"I would kill you, but I'd rather watch you suffer. The guards are on their way to get you now."

While Karmin was busy lecturing the butcher,I dropped the spear, grabbed a knife, and hid it behind my back.

"I'll go find everyone else. You better watch him king dude!" She ran out the room with a little skip to her step. And once again, I was alone with the butcher. I walked towards him again raising the knife. I showed it off to him with a slightly insane, crooked smile.

"Please! Don't!" He pleaded. Doesn't he know? He can't persuade me. My opinion and only mine matters in the world. I stabbed his stomach leaving a small little hole where there used to be rotten flesh use to live. The blood poured out and left me with a satisfied grin. Of course I wouldn't kill him. I'm a king remember? Kings are only responsible for the torture.

Hi! Whoa that chapter was... weird. This arc is kinda a weird one but the others will be less gory. This arc will be over in the next part or two. I personally like Alex snapping. Now, there are a lot of personality hints about Alex since chapter one and in this one it practically tell you. I won't say it because it's common sense and they literally said it like 5 times in this chapter. If you watch BBC's Sherlock you'll get the reference Alex kept saying. In case no one could tell the obvious sarcasm Alex thought. When he was talking about forgiving him because it may be his "bad day" was sarcasm. And a quick change I'll be making to this story! Louise is no longer their cousin because I know there will be people who wont understand how some royal arranged marriages work and arranged marriages in general. Plus it would be more fun if she wasn't related and was just friends with the kingdom and that's why they know her. I'll fix it don't worry. Bye!

P.S. thank you guys for 220 reads! I swear I just thanked you guys for 100 reads the other day! Where are you little precious babies coming from? I see one dude is in India, hi. You guys are awesome! This book is a mix of psychological horror, feels fest, humor, science fiction, ect.
