Althea walked up to Batchi at the airport terminal, giving her friend a hug, then heading for baggage claim.

"How was the trip tsong?" Batchi asked, as Althea snagged her bag off the "merry-go-round" Miggy's official name for whatever the hell that thing was.

"Good, I got a lot of shit done, so I won't hafta go back for at least another month or so."

"Jade looks really good." Batchi mentioned, as they walked to her car. "Wila and I went over last night and watched TV with her, by the way, your bed is huge." Althea laughed.

"Yeah, but Jade thinks it's too huge, she thinks I'm trying to get away from her."

"Are you?" Althea nudged her friend.

"No, you know I've always had king size beds."

"Yeah, when you were a player and you didn't wanna snuggle or nothing." Althea shot Batchi a look

"I was never really a player, I just like a lot of room and let's stop talking about my bed please?" The two got into the car and headed home

About 45 minutes later, Batchi pulled into the Jathea's driveway, Althea practically jumped out before the car stopped. Grabbing her bags, she waved bye to Batchi and sprinted toward the house.

"Hey Ma'." Althea put her bag on the floor and kissed her Amanda's cheek.

"How was your trip hija?"

"Good, it was good." Althea replied, looking over at the stairs.

"She's fine Althea, bored, stubborn, but fine." Althea looked back at Amanda and smiled.

"Thanks for staying Ma', we really appreciate it." Althea gave her future mother in law a warm hug.

"I made some chicken and potato salad, it's in the fridge and I went shopping this morning, so you don't have to worry about that." Althea kept nodding her head, only thinking of one thing.
