"Hey, Riley?" I hear Heath's soft voice. My eyes flutter open adjusting to the dim light. "We're here."

I sit up looking out the window. It was dark out, but the illuminating lights brightened some spots. It was a three hour flight here. I don't remembering falling asleep, but I was feeling overly exhausted when I got on.

I put my hair behind my shoulders as I stand up. Heath carries our backpack. We head out stepping on a deserted snow covered field. "He had us land somewhere away from people." Heath says. I nod as I hug myself for heat. The temperature here physically felt lower than in New York.

Heath starts walking towards a ranch, and I follow in his steps. Making our way through the un bearable cold we finally reach the ranch. I'm usually use to this weather, but I guess I've adapted to the Los Angeles heat more now.

Heath stands at the door, and looks around at the surroundings. He lifts up the porch mat. I guess he's looking for the key. Nothing was under the mat so he searches in the pots. "We're not breaking and entering are we?" I asked shocked.

"No. Obviously not." Surprise clear in his tone. "Why would you even think that? Princess, I'm trying to save you from jail, not make you get in even more trouble." He explains. I roll my eyes.

"That's not exactly what it looks like." I argue back. He ignores me, and opens the mail box. A smile erupts on his face as he reaches in pulling out a small silver key.

He inserts it into the key hole, and unlocks the door. He steps in without a second thought while I linger outside of the door; not sure if I should go in or not.

"We are not breaking and entering, it's Liam's." Heath reassures me. I smile at the better explanation and step in. The sudden warmth causes goosebumps all over my body, and I shiver under the change of temperature as I close the door.

I look around at the spacious and highly decorated ranch. "Liam's being immoderately generous." I state.

"There's nothing to worry about. He's just returning an old favour." Heath reveals.

"Oh." I reply trailing his voice back to the kitchen. Heath was busy looking through the cupboards.

"They're all empty." Heath says frustrated.

"So what? I'll take you grocery shopping." I reply calmly.

"We're on the television as wanted. I don't think we can go grocery shopping without getting caught."

My mood drops. I smile again as a thought pops into my head. "Well, we can't just stay hauled up in here, and starve to death. Life is about adrenaline, right? You play ball you should know. What's some fun without risks?" It wasn't the best idea. Mentally weighing everything, I figures I don't have much to lose if we do get caught. And getting caught was tremendously close to unlikely.

"Who are you?" Heath gasps.

"Riley King." I smile.

"No. This is my smart, cute, and my personal favourite risk taker Riley King." He grins.

"You wish I was yours." I retort smartly.

"Eh." He makes a face.

"Hey!" I cross my arms over my chest. He laughs.
