"Oh, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot we were suppose to work on it yesterday." I sigh," Jen and Kylie really wanted to take me out and I'm sorry."

"It's okay." He laughs," There's still two days left. But I was messaging you all day. Why weren't you messaging me back?"

"I don't have my phone, and why'd you bring chocolate for me?" I ask taking another bite.

"I heard you weren't in your best mood today." He says quietly.

"And who was this person that told you?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"Heath." He mumbles.

"And did he also tell you that he's the one who has my phone, or that he's the reason I'm mad?"

"Ohhh. Makes sense, and no he didn't." I nod," Okay, you know what he's a jerk sometimes. Just forget about him and lets get started on the homework." He says opening up his laptop.

*********

"No way! Are you serious?"

"Yeah after that day Heath's ego has been higher than an eagle could ever fly." I laugh.

"Explains a lot about him." I say and the door clicks open.

"Heyyy, Rileyyy..." Jen says walking in. "Dylan? What are you two doing together?"

"Working on a project." I reply.

"While eating Chinese take out?" Jen asks.

"We got hungry." Dylan protests.

"You could've at least ordered me some."

"You've been awol the whole day." I complain.

"Yeah, I had to cheer her up by bringing her chocolates, and tell her the story about Heath when he was ten."

"Oh! You told her that?" Jen laughs, Dylan and I both nod joining in on the laugh. "What's wrong?" Jen sits down beside me.

"Nothing."

"She's on her period." Dylan says.

"No I'm not." I glare at Dylan," I'll tell you when I am and it's not today for sure." Jen nods not believing me, and I roll my eyes," Where have you been the whole day?"

"I went out with Kylie to get my car back." She says," I messaged you."

"Yeah I don't have my phone."

"Did you lose it?"

"Nope it's very well kept in Heath Lever's hands."

"My brother has your phone?" Jen's eyes widen.

"Yes!" I groan.

"How?"

"From that stupid prank this morning. Well it wasn't stupid, but still."

"Oh." She says not making eye contact.

"Wait a minute. You left me with that monster you call your brother this morning. Alone!" I grab a pillow off the bed and smack her with it.

"Hey, hey!.. Stop!"

"No! You little. Ugh!" I stop. "I lost my phone because of you two." I cup my face with my hands.

"Hey, Dylan came after us, took the most ugliest pictures of and then posted them online for the whole world to see. I've been getting comments all morning." She sends a glare his way.

"Well I didn't get to see them."

"You'll get your phone back. Eventually." Dylan says and I give him a dead stare," Okay. There must've been some sort of catch." He adds raising his eyebrows at me.

"Yes."

"What was it?" Jen asks.

"I have to stay away from Luke, and before you start saying that Luke is a bad guy and Heath is just trying protect me. Let's just get one thing straight. Luke is the only guy that I can openly talk to who doesn't judge me by the people I hang out with, and also the only guy who doesn't annoy the crap out of me." I say causing Dylan and Jen to remain quiet. I let out a breath," What time is it?" I sigh.

"Five forty. Why?" Jen asks.

"I have practice to go to." I get up. "We're done the thing right?" I ask Dylan and he nods," Okay, so you can just keep it and remember to bring it to class."

I'm so not ready for practice. Kirsten. Ugh!
