Aphmau's POV

After Levin and Malachi were fast asleep, I made my own attempt to fall asleep.
After about an hour of restless laying down and doing nothing, I decided that I wasn't tired. I walked out into the kitchen and saw that Garroth's light was off. He must be asleep. I thought. He has to get up early tomorrow.
I walked out onto the balcony and looked out. As far as I could see, it was almost dead. Dante took the night shift for Laurence tonight, so he was out patrolling the area, making sure no monsters came. Especially monsters named Zane.

I laughed when a spider came up behind Dante and hissed. Dante jumped up into the air and screamed. I burst out laughing and that's when he noticed me watching him. After taking care of the spider, he approached the balcony.
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!" He acted out the role of the prince, which caused me to laugh even harder. I laughed so hard that I didn't even notice when Garroth walked out and began to watch.
"My hair isn't long enough for that!" I said, still giggling.
"Oh. Jump out the window then." Dante replied, trying to act out the role, even though he was holding back a laugh.
"I can help you with that..." Garroth laughed as he picked me up. I shrieked as he tossed me off. Dante dropped his sword and caught me just in time. Normally I would be mad, but I know that it was all in good fun. So I laughed. I laughed, so Dante started laughing, and Garroth started laughing and soon enough we were a group of psychopaths who couldn't control their laughter. Anybody walking past would think we were insane.

I walked around and went back up to the balcony, still laughing, and came just in time to hear Dante speak.
"Thanks, for trusting me to catch her." He said.
"Hey, you caught on! Good job."
"Well, I know you wouldn't throw somebody off the balcony if you didn't trust me to catch them."
"Yeah, and if you wouldn't have caught her, I would be crazy mad at you right now."
"Glad to know that I can rely on both of you." I said as I walked up to the edge.
This caused them both to laugh. If we really live a day longer every time we laughed, we would be immortal right now.
"I have to go return to my duties. So I will catch up with you tomorrow." Dante said as he walked off. Then both me and Garroth turned serious.
"Why are you up, Lady Aphmau?"
"I just couldn't sleep, and what have I told you?! Call me Aphmau, just Aphmau. Why were you awake?"
"I was thinking, and I heard footsteps. So I came to investigate, and you were out here with Dante.
"And you didn't get crazy jealous? That's a first."
"What?! No! I know that there is nothing between you and Dante. I would know, I know the signs of liking someone, and neither one of you show any of them."
"Hm, what were you thinking about?" I questioned. I was innocent enough, and I was curious.
"... I was thinking about you...and I wanted to ask you a question..." He hesitated.
"Yes...?"
"W-Would you g-go on a date with me...?" He nervously asked.
"Why so nervous, Garroth? Of course I will. But when will it be?" I questioned and he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Does tomorrow, at seven work?"
"Sure! Sounds great."

A/N-- Who expected Garroth to get really jealous of Aphmau and Dante? Who was surprised when Garroth threw her off the balcony? To be honest, I kind of surprised myself with this chapter. Also, I forgot to mention. I will be doing a replica of Malachi's drawing from the last chapter, and pitting it on Instagram, that will be up soon. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter and I will see you later! Byee!!

Random Question: Besides Garroth and Aphmau, who is your favourite character from minecraft diaries season 2? Mine is probably Malachi. Answer in the comments!
