Awful Awakening

Chapter 19

Cameron and I were at Beach at around 1 am in the morning. I'm just surprised that our driver was able to do this and what was more shocking it was the same beach we went to. We were walking up to the shoreline and I saw something sitting there. I ran up to it and saw a little picnic. Cameron is a real ladies man wow. Him and I sat next to each other and the view was amazing. 

The moon was reflecting off the water and all the stars were shining so bright. While the sound of the waves were just soothing. We weren't talking for a while we just sat there looking at the view. I felt like it was almost close to what happened here a few days ago, where we fell and stared into each other's eyes. 

Cameron then took the basket and started taking the food out. I looked over at the food he took out, 2 pink smoothies, then 2 burritos and 2 bowls of something. I looked over closely and saw that it was chipotle burritos/bowls and jamba juice.

"Are you serious? You got some chipotle?" I laughed while I picked up the burrito

"What do you except? Wine and cheese?" He laughed

"Plus give me some credit, I made it look all fancy, well our driver did" He added

"Well, this is really nice, you are such a gentleman Mr.Dallas" I said

"Why thank you, Ms. Espinosa" He stated

We ate and talked about just our fun memories. We laughed, smiled and was happy because we would always have a good time together. When we talked I noticed something, the way he smiled and his eyes light up whenever I laughed. He got closer to me and we looked at our view together. He wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest and I saw him smile. I felt happy, warm and safe on him. I closed my eyes, just feeling happy.

"Umm...Cameron? I'm sorry to ruin this moment but like what time is it?" I asked as I looked at him 

"Its fine..um..its...already 3 am, we should go" He said shockingly 

We got up and I helped him packed up everything. We ran over to the limo and dropped our stuff next to us as we sat down. It was an amazing night and I couldn't ask for more I wonder why the driver agreed to this, I mean what did Cameron offer him? I was about to ask but I felt like it wasn't necessary. But 20 minutes later, I did ask something I felt like was necessary

"Cameron, can I ask you something?" I asked

 "Okay, what you need?" He stated as I bit my lip nervous as ever 

"What do you think of me as a person? Not as a friend, not as a partner, not as Matthew's sister. Just as a normal girl who you talked to and know, and please just be honest, I won't get angry I promise" I explained nervously 

*Cameron's pov*

Once I heard that question, I just paused. I don't want to say the wrong thing but I can't say nothing at all. I took a deep breath and looked into her beautiful eyes.

"umm..well, I think you're an amazing person. You are so down to earth and just so kind, you are also really funny and just the perfect amount of sarcastic. Also you try to be open-minded and outgoing which is amazing, your personality is just beautiful just as you. Your eyes are something I never seen, your body is beautiful, your lips look soft and you seem so delicate but you can never break-" I stopped explaining knowing I said too much

Athena was turning red, blushing and was also smiling. I kinda blushing also, I felt so embarrassed, I said too much and I don't want her to know I loved her.

"I think I said too much" I laughed nervously 

"No you didn't, you said just about enough" She giggled as she put her hand on mine

Our hand intertwined to each other, it honestly just the perfect moment now. Both of our hands intertwined and were just tied up and then her forehead was against mine. We stared into each other's eyes for about 5 minutes. Our noses were touching and most importantly, our lips were close to each other. She let go and wrapped her arms around my neck, without even moving our foreheads.

She whispered to me "You're an amazing boy, you know that?"

She then went back to her normal sitting position and just look down on her phone, acting like nothing happened. Which drove me crazy, fuck, she really knew how to make a boy go crazy. I never thought she was the type to do this, it made me love her even more and just making me want more.

"So, how much more til' we go back to the hotel?" She asked me as she looked up to me

"Maybe about 20 minutes, I don't really know" I said

I heard her muttered to herself. Then she looked at me and just gave me a casual smile. She looked back down to her phone and then in a seconds, I saw her bit her lip. I felt like she was teasing me on purpose. She's honestly making me go insane, I just want her to be mine already.

"Do you think Matthew's gonna get mad?" I asked

"Definitely since especially i'm with one of his best friends and he doesn't you guys around me." She laughed

"He's going to kill me, he's really overprotective of me!" She added

"What if he doesn't know that is happened?" I smirked

"What do you mean by that?" She smirked back

"We sneak you back in, change into pj's or whatever you sleep in, slip into bed and bam, nothing happened, you were sleeping in your room the entire time. And if he asks about anything, tell you came with me to buy "something at the store" got it?" I explained my brilliant plan

"That could work" She stated

Then 20 minutes passed by, and we were at the hotel. We got out and Athena tried to help me unpack my stuff "Just go, I got this" I said. I then continued getting stuff as she tries to make it back to her hotel room.
