SA 18 - Closer

CAS' POV

"Mom am I really required to go?" 

"Yes Nathaniel."

Nakaupo lang ako habang nanonood kami ni daddy ng Minions.

"Damn that Scarlet is cool." I heard my dad mumbled.

Napatawa na lang ako. "Gay."

"Son if I'm gay you wouldn't be watching this crap with me right now." sabi ni dad sabay kain ng popcorn.

"I can't go mom." 

"And why is that?"

Tuloy parin sa pagbabangayan ang kambal ko at ang mommy namin. You see we we're invited to some kind of party by my grandparents' business partner. At siyempre ay hindi pupunta si introvert. Bukod sa naiirita siya sa napakaraming tao ay magiging busy pa yan sa bago niyang pinagkakaabalahan.

But mom is too persistent.

"I have stuffs to do mommy."

"No Cassander Nathaniel, you're going or I'll ground you."

At wala nang magawa si Sander kundi ang pumunta. Pinakahate niya ang pag ground. Kasi bawi lahat ng gadgets niyan.

Umakyat na si Sander sa kwarto niya to make some phone calls about his new thing at umupo na naman si mom sa lap ni dad. Yes people on my dad's effin lap. Tinaas ko tuloy yung hoodie ko to concentrate on the movie I am watching and not to my parents that are seating right beside me.

Bigla na lang umilaw ang phone ko only to find out that Electra has been calling me.

Mabilis kong kinuha ang phone ko at nag-excuse sakanila. I went straight to our garden then answered her call.

"Salamat sa Diyos at sumagot ka na." She said before I could even say hello.

"Why? May problema ba?" I asked her.

"Um kasi ano Cas.. naiwan ko bag ko sa condo mo." 

I was trying to recall the other day, ah yes. When she slept in my condo and got stranded for like 1 day because of the rain. 

"Wala ako sa condo ngayon eh, but tell me kung san mo iniwan ang bag mo and I'll get it tapos idadaan ko sainyo."

"Yay! Thanks Cas nasa malapit ata yun sa bed mo. Di ko na matandaan.. basta yung bag na binili mo sakin." I don't know what gotten into me but what she said made me smile.

"Okay, mga 3 aalis ako sa bahay. My parents' are requiring this quality time every weekends, so I'm stuck for like 12 hours watching crap here. Hahahaha."
