A decade has passed since Operation Strix began. The once volatile tensions between the East and West have calmed, thanks in part to Loid Forger's relentless efforts. However, rumors of a new program designed to reignite the hostilities have started...
Somehow, even with memory loss and everything that went on, I managed to get top 10 in every subject in my midterms. Mr. Henderson was beyond shocked, he was so surprised he talked to the principal and other instructors. They all agreed to take away three bolts away from my record.
"This is fantastic news, Anya!" Papa beamed as he ruffled my hair. "I'm so proud of you!"
I smiled, suddenly my head began pounding, was this another memory?

"Anya you passed!" Papa said smiling as he lifted me up, his eyes full of happiness.
"I passed, I passed!" I cheered up in the air. Suddenly Papa's body went out. He laid on the floor unconscious.
White flashes began running through my head as another memory hit.
"Congratulations, Anya" Papa said softly as he patted my head in a caring manner. He was smiling as we watched the fireworks flash across the sky. I've had so much excitement since he adopted me.

"Anya! Are you okay!?" Mama called out as she rushed to my side, her voice full of concern.
I blinked, trying to shake off the dizziness. "I-I think so, Mama. Just some memories coming back, I guess."
She hugged me tightly. "It's okay, sweetie. Take your time. We're here for you."
I nodded, taking deep breaths to calm myself. The flashes of memories were both comforting and confusing. Each one felt like a piece of a puzzle, slowly coming together to reveal a bigger picture of my past.
Papa joined us, his face lined with worry. "Do you want to talk about it?"
I hesitated, then decided to share. "I remembered you lifting me up when I passed something, maybe a test? And then... you collapsed. Another memory was of us watching fireworks, and you congratulated me."
Papa's expression softened. "Those were both important moments. The first one was when you passed your entrance exam to this school. I fainted from sheer relief and joy. The fireworks were on the day we passed the interview and you were admitted to Eden. I'm so glad you're starting to remember."
Mama squeezed my hand. "We're here to help you, Anya. Whenever you need to talk or if you feel overwhelmed, just let us know."
I nodded, feeling a bit more grounded. "Thanks, Mama, Papa. I'll try my best."
With their support, I felt more confident in facing whatever memories came my way. It was a journey of rediscovery, and I knew I wasn't alone. I ended the night with my family, looking at our family album, seeing my younger self smiling without a care in the world made me feel warm inside, maybe, just maybe I can happy again.
