A little on the shorter side, but I will be going back to edit some of the previous chapters!

Spy x Family narrator:

Loid Forger, also known as the master of disguise-Agent Twilight- has been working for WISE for more than a decade. He dedicated his time wisely. Whenever he wasn't at the office working, he was often doing missions for Handler. When he wasn't doing missions for Handler, he was often spying on Anya, making sure she wasn't in any danger. Ever since Anya confessed her abilities, he has felt a sense of danger roaming around. Finally having enough, Loid and Franky infiltrated the lab. What Loid found was unspeakable. He was sure they were going to come back for Anya. As the world progressed and technology began taking over, there were much easier ways to track his daughter. Loid made sure that even in his spare time, he would make sure his family would be safe.

Loid's POV:

I was listening closely to Anya's conversation with her friends. It seemed that Becky still had her weird crush on me, to maintain close relationships with the Eden Academy students, I would ignore her and follow along with her one sided conversations. Becky had invited Anya and the rest to an arcade, but Anya denied since I gave her a hard time about finding a job. Was I really being that harsh on her? No, Twilight, this is for her own good.

"You know, my grandma owns a bakery, it's a 10 minute walk from the school, she's been looking for someone to help her out in the afternoons,I know you were involved in a cooking club, this could really benefit Grams .I could let her know later this afternoon if you're interested." Sebastian announced.

Ah, Sebastian Blackwell, 17 years old, son of Austin and Martha Blackwell. They seemed to have lived in Pairs temporarily for a few years. Sebastian seemed to be very good in his academics, almost as good as Damian Desmond. I would encourage Anya to keep up a good friendship with Sebastian, this could end up benefiting us in the end. The rest of the conversation was uneventful, it seems that the students had a pop quiz and I could tell from Anya's face she didn't study. What am I going to do with her?

I finished my observations and began to head back to the safe house. Anya was making progress, and I had to trust her instincts. Her friends seemed like good influences so far. I had to keep her safe, as for Desmond, I was just going to have to keep a closer eye on him.

As I arrived home, I saw Yor preparing dinner. I greeted her and washed my hands, joining her in the kitchen.

"How was your day?" she asked, smiling warmly.

"Eventful," I replied, thinking about the children. "Anya might have found a job at a bakery."

"Really? That's wonderful!" Yor exclaimed. "I'm sure she'll do great."

"I hope so," I said, a small smile tugging at my lips. "She's growing up fast."

Yor nodded. "Yes, she is, it seems that time has really gone by fast, Anya will be turning 18 in a couple months!"

I can't believe that little pink head girl I chose at the orphanage 12 years ago was about to turn 18 soon. We couldn't find Anya's original birth certificate, so I had asked her what day she wanted her birthday to be. For some reason she chose October 20th. When I asked her why that specific day, she said it was because that was the day I adopted her. I couldn't help but smile at the reminiscent memory. I really did grow to love her.

Yor and I had finished cooking, we decided to make hamburger steak, Anya's favorite. I was actually happy she was taking the job searching sincerely, she even sacrificed time with her friends. She deserves to know that she has parents who love and appreciate her. I checked the time on my clock it was 7:30 pm, Anya would be home at anytime.

As we set the table, I couldn't help but glance at the door, anticipating Anya's return. Yor hummed softly as she arranged the plates, her eyes shining with the same pride and love I felt for our daughter.

"Do you think she'll like the surprise?" Yor asked, looking at me with a hopeful expression.

"I'm sure she will," I replied, placing the final touches on the table. "She's worked hard, and she deserves to know how proud we are of her."

Just then, the sound of the front door opening echoed through the apartment. Anya stepped in, looking tired but happy.

"I'm home!" she called out, slipping off her shoes and heading towards the kitchen. "Hamburger steak! My favorite!" she called out, drool basically forming at the side of her mouth. She quickly came to give Yor and I a hug.

"Go wash up Anya," I announced hugging my daughter back. She gave me a quick nod and proceeded to wash up for dinner.

As we sat down to eat, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter. It was moments like these that reminded me why I did what I did, why I worked so hard to protect my family. Anya's joy and Yor's unwavering support were all I needed to keep going.

Later that night, as I was reviewing some documents in my study, I heard a soft knock on the door.

"Come in," I called.

Anya peeked her head in, looking hesitant. "Papa, can I talk to you?"

"Of course, Anya. What's on your mind?" I asked, putting down my papers and giving her my full attention.

"I just wanted to say thank you," she said, stepping inside. "For everything. I know I mess up sometimes, but I'm really trying to do better. Bash texted me, he said that his grandmother would love to hire me at her bakery. I also know that my grades will begin slipping if I don't study... I don't know when Grandpa Siggy will be back, but I know I can't wait for him. Sy-on boy has offered to help me study on weekends."

I smiled, feeling a swell of pride. "I see, well make sure to thank your friends Anya, Keep up the good work." I said as I ruffled her hair.

She smiled back, relief and happiness evident in her eyes. "Thanks, Papa."

As she left the room, I couldn't help but feel optimistic about the future. We were all doing our best, and that was enough. For now, it was enough.
