Yor's POV:
Loid and I got back home early in the morning the next day. I made my way to Anya's room to check on her, she seemed to be in a deep slumber. I couldn't help but smile at my daughter. I decided to give her a couple more minutes of sleep. I made my way towards the laundry room, I needed to get this blood off my dress before it stained. As I began washing my clothes, I noticed a bundle of clothes in the dryer. Was this Anya's uniform? It probably got wet from the rain last night, I should iron it before she heads out to school. As I took out her clothes, I noticed there was another Eden uniform in the dryer. There was a pair of pants and a longer shirt.
"Yor?" Loid called from the hallway, I quickly folded the clothes and hid them behind my back.
"I'm doing some laundry, Loid!" I reply back. He walks into the laundry room, now wearing different clothes. He had his dirty clothes from the mission in his hand, if he walked here he would see the mysterious uniform! He would get so mad if he knew Anya had a boy over...
"I think Anya went through my room, she left a mess, I wonder what she was looking for," Loid replied making his way towards the washing machine. I quickly stopped in front of him.
"Oh! Loid! Why don't you leave that there, I'll get to it. Umm, why don't you take Bond out for a walk, I'll wake up Anya and make her some breakfast! Bond, walk time!" I yell out.
Bond comes into the laundry room with his collar and leash ready. Before Loid could say anything, I quickly get Bond ready and handed him over. Bond began running towards the front door.
"Bond! Wait!" Loid yelled out as the big white dog continued running. Now with Loid gone this was my opportunity. I quickly put his clothes into the washing machine, before taking Anya's uniform and the other set with me to Anya's room.
"Anya, wake up," I said nudging her softly. She groaned and rolled over, pulling the covers over her head. I couldn't help but chuckle. Anya always had a way of making even the smallest moments feel special.
"Anya, sweetheart, you need to get up," I repeated gently, this time giving her a slight tickle on her side. She squirmed and peeked out from under the covers with one eye open.
"Five more minutes, Mama," she mumbled, clearly not ready to start the day.
"Come on, sleepyhead. We need to talk about something important," I said, trying to sound both serious and encouraging.
Anya sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Important? Is it about school?"I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach the topic. "Sort of. I found another Eden Academy uniform in the dryer. Do you know whose it is?"
Anya's eyes widened slightly, and she looked down at her hands, clearly caught off guard. "Um, well, maybe it's Damian's?"
"Damian?" I repeated, trying to recall why that name sounded so familiar. After much thought, It finally hit me, it was the boy that came over recently! . "Why would Damian's uniform be here?"
Anya bit her lip, fidgeting with her fingers. "He... he might have come over last night. He walked me home yesterday after club, and then it started raining really hard, so I told him he could wait here until it stopped."
I felt a mixture of relief and concern. "Anya, you should have told us if you had a friend over, especially a boy. You know how overprotective your father gets."
Anya nodded, looking genuinely remorseful. "I'm sorry, Mama. I didn't mean to cause any trouble. We just lost track of time."
I sighed, hugging her tightly. "It's okay, just remember to let us know next time. Now, let's get you ready for school."
