"No-ooo! I'm not checking you out! I would never" Becky replied. Why did I say that? I was a bit confused at her thoughts and her actions...

"Relax Becky, it's just a joke. I know you think of me as a delinquent," Bash said ruffling her hair. She looks so pretty with her hair down, I like this casual Becky.

I wonder how could I get Becky and Bash to talk to one another more? they clearly had a thing for each other, but both are too hardheaded to do anything. I turned around and noticed Damian playing with my teddy bear, he had given it to me a couple years ago. Mama, Papa and I had gone to the Berlint carnival. Coincidentally, Damian was there with Ewen and Emile. As I reminisced about that day, a smile crept onto my face. Damian had won the bear for me at one of those rigged carnival games. It was a sweet gesture, one that I cherished. I watched him now, his fingers gently tracing the seams of the stuffed animal.

"Hey, remember when you won that for me?" I asked, nudging Damian with my elbow.

He looked up, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, that was a fun day. Ewen and Emile kept daring me to win something, and I figured you'd like the bear."

"I do," I replied softly, taking the bear from his hands and hugging it to my chest.

Bash, sensing the shift in mood, stood up and stretched. "Alright, enough of this mushy stuff. Let's get some fresh air before we need to hit the books again."

"Good idea," Damian agreed, standing up and stretching as well. "A walk might clear our heads."

As we made our way outside, Becky and Bash fell into step beside each other. I couldn't help but notice the way Bash glanced at Becky when he thought no one was looking. There was something there, something unspoken and delicate.

"Hey, guys," I called out, an idea forming in my mind. "Why don't we check out the new ice cream shop?"

Bash nodded smiling enthusiastically, "Yes! I've been wanting to go lets go," Becky's eyes lit up at the mention of ice cream, and she gave a small smile. "I suppose a little treat wouldn't hurt," she said, trying to sound nonchalant.

We made our way to the ice cream shop, the warm summer breeze lifting our spirits. As we entered, the rich aroma of freshly made waffle cones filled the air. Bash immediately walked up to the counter, his eyes scanning the menu. "I'm getting the biggest sundae they have," he declared.

Damian chuckled, shaking his head. "You're going to be in a sugar coma after that."

Becky stepped up next to Bash, her eyes darting to the various flavors. "I think I'll go with the strawberry cheesecake," she said softly.

"Great choice," Bash said with a grin. "Maybe I'll get that too."

As they ordered, I noticed how close they were standing, their shoulders almost touching. I shared a knowing look with Damian, who just raised an eyebrow in amusement. We all got our ice cream and found a table outside. The conversation flowed easily, filled with laughter and light-hearted banter. Becky and Bash seemed more relaxed around each other, and I could see their playful teasing turn into genuine smiles and stolen glances.
