15. So close.

A/n before I get into the story, I have an idea to make the story extremely better . Its not going to  be on this chapter but I think you guys will like it .

Me and Malachi sat in my living room in silence.
It was so awkward. Very awkward .
I have to make my grade some how.

"So.." He says .

"Yup." I cross my legs folding my arms .

"Come on Aliyah, you're still mad?"

"I mean you're here aren't you ?"

The doorknob started to rotate . It finally opens .

It was my mom .

"Hey honey, Malachi ." They met a couple days ago . And she's really starting to bond with him .

"I know you two haven't had the best relationship.." She starts .

"I brought you guys some stuff to cook for tonight .
You too just need to get over what ever happened and just talk it out.. I'll be uh, going out to pay bills."

She hugs us both before she leaves .

"She's right you know ?" He says

"Oh please, she's always right. Come on let's start cooking."

"Let's see what we got here, shrimp Alfredo, spaghetti baked, and just hamburgers and French fries."

"Defiantly Shrimp Alfredo. It's my favorite ."

"It's my favorite also ." We look at each other and smile

"And for desert we can either bake brownies, cupcakes or cookies" I say .

"I'd say we bake all."

I chuckle "You just read my mind Mr.clark .

So we cooked and baked and threw flower and stuff on each other it was pretty fun .

"Before we eat I'm gonna take a shower ."

I say . "Alright" He already took one before he came over .

15 minutes later

I was in and out . I had on some joggers and a tank
top with my hair in a pony tail .

"Well, took you long enough"

"I'm a female, we take forever in the shower ." I say grabbing a paper plate .

"You eat off paper plates?" He furrowed his eyebrows

"Uh, yes! I'm not about to wash dishes every night fam ."

He smiles "I never seen this side of you ."

I didn't say nothing .

"You wanna fix my food?"

"Oh, yes baby just wait there."

I say sarcastically

"Oh,honey thanks for being a doll."

"Oh please, Come on we can eat in my room. Follow the leader!"

We marched into my room and plopped on the bed .

I turned the tv to Cartoon Network .

"So, how did you come from hating me so fast?" She was chewing on food .

"Oh I still hate your guts . This sweet stuff is only for the project ."

"Oh..."

"Where Amanda ?"

"Who the fuck cares ?"

She shrugs "just asking."

"She's a whore ."

"I'm not surprised" her phone lights up and her face turned to a frown .

"Hey what's wrong ?"

"Nothing, I'm okay ."

"No, don't lie to me ."

"Why should you care ?"

"Because I care now tell me what's wrong?"

"Well, my mom she's so depressed right now .. She caught my dad cheating on her a couple weeks ago . And they got an divorce . That's why I didn't let you come over when we started this stupid project ." She started tearing up .

Man it breaks my heart to see this girl like this .

"My dad out of all people had to be the one to cheat . I don't know how I'm gonna cope with out him here. So now she says she won't be home for a few weeks she just need some 'fresh air'"

"Hey hey hey, it's okay . I know how it feels trust me but I'm here for you . Gods here for you ."

"I've never told any one this but you so please keep this between us"

He smiles "Hey look you can stay with me till she gets back and trust me your secrets safe with me."

"You sure about that ?"

"Yeah, of course. And to make your day even better I told my friends that we didn't do anything together ."

"That's still not gonna make me forget about your hurtful words ."

I caresses her cheek and lean in.

"I'm sorry ." I whisper .

We were just about to hit it off until her phone vibrated . It was Cameron .

"Hello? Oh Hi Cameron . Yes Friday sounds great. Okay see you then."

My face was full of jealousy .

Fuck, why on earth did this person had to be Cameron .
Shit man.

A/n this sucked by I was distracted and I have a big head ache that won't never leave . But are you team #caliyah #maliyah .
