I was lying down on my bed thinkin to myself .
I haven't really been keeping in touch with Aliyah .
I mean , I don't know I'm falling for Patience hard . And I know she's falling for me . And I don't doubt it .
But I know she's Aliyah Bestfriend but damn she's fine . But it's not about that . I don't even why I'm with Aliyah .
I did love her at one point . I will never forget the way we met . It wasn't big . It wasn't some extraordinary love story .
It was just how we met .

"Mom, do I really have to do this."

"Yes Ace ! This is your first job . Your gonna pay off the damage you did to my house ."

I sighed in irritation .

"How many times I have to tell you mom it wasn't me it was Anthony ."

Anthony is my older brother . He gets away with everything . Because he's so "smart" they always looked down on me .

"Why don't you be more like your brother ."

They would say . I act like they're hurtful words never got to me .
I have a reputation for being tough .

"Anthony would never do that . He's to old for that. He's in collage for goodness sakes ....You had to be the one to take after your father ."

I held all my anger in . I went into my room and slammed the door .
I punched the hell out of my wall .
Gosh it hurt so bad but it felt so good the pain of my emotions were gone .

The next day I went to my job .
I had to stalk groceries at Winn-Dixie Just because I was tall . The uniform wasn't bad . I was kinda cute in the hat they gave me . I walked in seeing many workers doing their job . They looked happy . A short girl with a nice shape her skin was creamy brown, her eyes were brown, hell even her hair was brown she was beautiful .

"Hey , you okay ? You look lost ."

"Uh , it's my first day on the job ."

"Oh! You must be Ace Johnson ?"

I smile at her . "Yes that's me ."

"You're with me on stocking the food ."

"Really they have you doing this ?"

She rolls her eyes "Why does everyone say that ?" She sighs

"Come on big foot ." She walks in front of me .

"All have you know I'm 5'9 thank you ."

We began doing our duties . Ha! Duties . Let me stop acting white .
We began working and shit , we had a really close connection . Even on the first day .

"You never told me your name ."
I claimed .

"It's not important ." She says .

"It is to me . I like you .. A lot ."

"It's been a month Ace ."

"A long month with out me knowing your name ."

She sighs "Have you ever read my name tag ."

I felt so stupid . "Aliyah ."

She nods "Took you long enough ."

After 5 long months .
I knew she had to
Be the one . She under stood me . She helped me out on everything on my feelings , what I needed in life she was just there for me .

We finally got together . She introduces me to her family , her friends her Bestfriend .

"Babe I'd like you to meet Patience ."

Patience was the most beautiful thing on earth . She reminded me of a daisy .

Her skin was so light and looked so soft
Her teeth were perfect !

"Hi." She sounded so shy .

"Hi, nice to meet you ." She looked me in the eyes .

"It's a pleasure ." She said charmingly

I hit on her multiple times .
She would never take it . She never told Aliyah . Until one day she confessed how she felt . She came over one day and we kissed and cuddled . She didn't wanna have Sex. She was a virgin . I ain't gone lie , I am too . But I have to put on a show for my boys .

I never meant to end up this way .
But it's apart of the game . It's apart of the gang . As the leader I gotta teach my boys things like this .

I feel like me and Patience both betrayed her . Tough luck .

What made me think of Aliyah,
Is when she met Malachi . I won't let that wanna be black take my girl .
I know deep down I still love her .
She's going no where . Patience isn't either .
Next time I see they fuck boy . He's gonna have another thing coming .
