Once they arrived at the theatre they quickly went to the stage knowing the Red Dragon would be there. When they got to the stage room they saw the Red Dragon waiting but this time he had his wife and Emma held hostage.
He also had another bomb containing the chemicals that left Slingshot and some of Rochester with superpowers.
"Finally, you will bare witness to my liberation. I will finally be free of my family's burden and I will finally become what I was born to be."
"The fuck is he talking bout" whispered Slingshot
"I don't know but it's hella corny" said Celerity
"Red Dragons, subdue them" yelled The Red Dragon
Both Celerity and Slingshot began fighting the gang and Celerity knew that The Red Dragon would set off the bomb when everyone was down. Celerity wasn't pulling her punches knowing she had a limited time before the countdown began so she slammed a thug into a chair and threw another one into the stands.
While Slingshot was still occupied she tried to sneak in the stage and free Emma and her mom. She took the duct tape off of Emma's mouth and was knocked back before could get it off of Emma's mom.
"And what do you think your doing Celerity" said The Red Dragon
"I'm freeing your family so you don't have the burden of their deaths on your shoulders" said Celerity
"Well their already a burden, especially my wife" said The Red Dragon
"Your lying to yourself, your family care about you. You're just making it even more difficult for them to care. It's not a burden it's called a loving family which is something most people don't have." Said Celerity
"Wow, am I suppose to cry now. Didn't I tell you what my wife was saying to me on the phone, how she was yelling-"
"Probably because you chose a life of crime over her" said Celerity cutting off the Red Dragon
"Whatever, I'm done talking" said The Red Dragon turning on the bomb with his remote
"No!" Screamed Celerity
She grabbed Emma and her mom and ran them out of the building and Slingshot grabbed the thugs running them out the building as well.
Then, they ran back in to try and disarm the bomb.
"How do we disarm this" asked Celerity
"I don't know, I've never seen the wiring like this" said Slingshot
"Well can you do that freezing time thing again" said Celerity
"I can try" said Slingshot
"What do you mean I can try" said Celerity
"I didn't try to do it last time I was just scared and time froze" said Slingshot
"Well aren't you scared right now" said Celerity
"I am, but it's not working" said Slingshot
"Shit, how are we going to-"
"I know how to shut it off!" Yelled Emma who was almost out of breath
"How? Why'd you come back?" said Celerity
"It needs my finger print" said Emma
"Where's the fingerprint thing" said Celerity
"Right here" said Emma putting her index finger on the pad
Suddenly, a Emma was hit with a puff of air that she inhaled by accident then she fell unconscious.
