As she woke up in the morning, the weight of betrayal suffocated her heart. It was a feeling she couldn't shake, a feeling that lingered in the depths of her soul. There was a battle between her heart and mind, each side was convincing the other, each side was trying to uphold their position before the depth of her soul collapses. As her heart tried to push it away, trying to win over and burry it beneath the surface of her consciousness, the mind chose otherwise as his grip was relentless.

Unable to resist the pull, she reached for her phone and opened the app that held the key to her anguish. The videos were there, taunting her with their indisputable evidence of deception. She couldn't help but to watch them again, each viewing fueling the fire of her anger. How could she do this!? How could she be this selfish? after all what she heard about her, being benevolent and caring? How could she betray the string of hope that has been growing ever since that day!? How could she laugh behind her back, acting as if she was chewing a trash not a person?

-The questions swirled in her mind, adding to the turmoil that raged within her. She felt as though she had been stabbed in the back, the pain of the betrayal cutting deep. "How could you..Freen!" she gritted, as she looked at the pictures. "These are impossible to be faked...the only person who's fake in this world is you!..and that snake Elizabeth!"

As she kept watching the videos for the umpteenth time, something shifted within her. The anger fused with something else, her mind took over her heart and began fueling her with a force that couldn't be controlled. It was hate, loathe and disgustingness that suddenly combined with her anger, causing her eyes to delve deeper into a chaotic state. She couldn't comprehend it anymore, she couldn't hold it within any much longer. She growled and threw her phone on the side, grabbed a pillow and hid her face. She screamed with all her might, while her fingers dug deeper into the pillow the more she felt the pain.

A moment not that long, she let go and took a deep breath. Her reddened cheeks and eyes, were manifestation of her anger and pain. It wasn't her first time to experience such feelings. Ever since her eyes met with Elizabeth's, such feelings were always surrounding her, as she always tell herself that she's used to it. But now, her pain grew much worse, because if it was from the same person, she could shake it off and move forward. However, this time around, it was from a person, that she hoped it will be special.

She took a while until she decided to leave her bed, and prepare for the day. It is her final week in the law firm, and she has to absolutely do whatever she can, to impress her professors. The moment she stood up and stretched her body, her phone started buzzing. She ignored it knowing it's Irin who's behind the messages, and went straight to get ready. She finished her long daily routine, grabbed her pad and bag, rushing away towards the dining room, where unexpected figure was enjoying its time. Rebecca startled and gasped at the same time. Her eyes were widened as if she saw a ghost, while her jaw dropped to the floor.

-Elizabeth who suddenly grew a habit of smoking, glanced at Rebecca as she exhaled her breath away. Rebecca got back to her senses, and slightly shook her head while clearing her throat, as she made her way towards the table. "Good morning...mother" she said politely, as she took her seat next to her. Elizabeth placed her cigarette on the ashtray, as she looked at her with animosity. "Good morning" she replied coldly, and sipped her coffee while her eyes are still fixated on her. The more she looks, the more rancor she become, causing Rebecca to feel uncomfortable and stress. "h-how's your flight?" she asked, trying to break the agony of her eyes. Elizabeth suddenly realized what happened, turned her attention towards her cigarette and slowly picking it up. "Tiring...and boring" she replied bluntly, as she forcefully grinned the cigarette in the ashtray "and if you are about to ask me where is daddy?...he just left..as always"
