Last Words, Last Wish

She stood crying, she was broken, she was in pieces. Lamenting she was, grieving she felt, in pain her heart was beating. Lostness, scattered thoughts, and numbness body was all in one. She was gone before anyone has noticed. Her eyes shut closed the moment she surrendered to her pain. Her breaths gone slow, the moment she fell onto her friends. As those who were weeping like lost children. They carried her, all together as they were one soul, gently they walked towards the clinic. They were hopeless, they were mourning, they were melancholic.

Each step they took, was burdened with gloominess. Their jovial, humorous, and kind friend has now been slipped away from her lifeless body, as misery took over every single part within her. As they were walking, they were hearing whispers from their peers. People began to gossip, they began to spread their versions of their hearsays, causing the group to fast on their footsteps. Moment not after that long, they reached the clinic, as Nam began to call for help immediately. Freen was rushed to the nearest ward, the nurses began to ask about what had happened.

-Her friends began to gulp and looked at each other nervously, they were discombobulated about what to tell her exactly, until Nita uttered her words. "She didn't had her breakfast this morning" she said, as she was looking at her friends "and she skipped dinner last night, due to...studying and such" The nurses nodded and began with their procedures, while the rest left the room and waited for them to finish. Everyone sat down besides Kade and Heng that they were standing in front of them. The silence surrendered the area, as the only sound that echoes was the nurses footsteps. Nam began to sob again, while Tee was rubbing her back. Kade was looking at Nita, eagerly waiting for her to say something.

-Heng paced back and forth, while Nita took a deep breath and wiped her tears. "I-I'm lost for words...I don't know how to think or what to say!" she stuttered, as her hands were clenched on her knees "the only think..that my eyes are manifesting..was her screams and tears" Kade collapsed on the floor, as she sob loudly. "please..tell me this is a dream" she cried, as she hid her face with her hands "I can't bear looking at her state...and here we are..sitting hopelessly..unable to do anything" Nam leaned forward, looking at Kade "I feel like..it's a dream!" she wept "but..for now..we need to be with her at all costs!" Tee heaved a sighed, while her head was slightly lower "let's..just keep this matter between us" she demanded "I have a feeling that..something had happened to them..by something..I mean someone was behind this"

-Heng snapped his fingers and turned to look at them "what if...her uncle was the person behind all of this!" he gulped, as his body began to shake "I don't remember Freen telling us that her father has..well..people that wanted him dead!..unless she doesn't know?" Nita shook her head "don't rush and jump into conclusions just yet" she said "I don't think that her uncle will act idiotically and commit something that will...put him behind bars" Tee nodded, as she leaned forward looking at her "your right!" she said "he's greedy! and money is something he needs..so killing his brother..will be a wrong move" Kade crossed her hands, while her eyes were fixated on Freen's ward. "Now just..let's stay together..let's be with her" she said sadly, as she looked back at them "I pray that..she will never lose herself..I hope that she will be able to find peace in this difficult time"

-Nita's eyes flooded with tears "she deserves to be loved..she deserves happiness" she lamented, as she turned to look at everyone "now it's the time to return our debt to her..all of us..we are a family..her family! Let's never forget that!" They all nodded as they sat together waiting for her to wake up. However, due to their exams they had to leave, apart from Nita, who was done for the day. She however instructed them to deliver Freen's exam as they were on their way to do so before the tragedy. After awhile, Nita went and sat next to Freen, tightly holding her hand, and wiping her tears. "I'm..sorry for your loss honey" she whispered "I promise that who ever did this to you..will pay..I promise that all of us will be with you..no matter what you do!"
