"I'm sorry about...her hand I guess." I said to her as I walked over to her.

"Don't be sorry, I've got no worries about you. She just makes my skin crawl." She shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"That was awkward." I said

"Baby, it was awkward for you. For me, I just cared that she left quickly. She still thinks she has a chance." She said with an element of disgust towards the last part.

It made me laugh at her for a small moment. "Are you jealous?" I teased her as I went to her side and slid my hands up to neck.

"No, I've got nothing to be jealous of." She said placing her hands on my waist, drawing me closer to her.

"You sure baby" I teased her further tangling my hands in her hair scratching at her scalp.

A small thing I picked up on for her to fold in front of me.

"I'm not jealous." She said before pressing a kiss to my lips.

"If you say so." I shrugged because I know she'll never admit to actually being jealous.

Even if she is.

"What time am I picking you up?" She asked softly as I looked into her green eyes.

"Six, I know it's kind of soon but six." I said.

"Mhm, and something warm right?" She asked once more.

"Yeah." I said before I kissed her. Soft and slowly, like I was telling her something.

It was steady and soft. She sucked at my bottom lips softly, tugging on it. I parted my lips so her tongue could slide in and it did. Instead of the usual dominance fight our tongues have, they moved together.
Rhythmically and soft too. I pulled back slightly and looked into her green eyes.

The same green eyes that I looked at the first day of school. When she saw me in the park. Her piercing and enchanting green eyes.

We stayed there in silence for a moment, basking in the moment of our kiss we just shared. We've never had a kiss like it before so it was a moment for us.

"Okay, you should go so I can come fetch you at six." She said with a soft smile.

"Okay." I said but just leaned into her touch more. "After a moment." I said against her chest.

She let out a small laugh and kissed my head. "Okay love, after a moment." She said.

We stayed there for a couple minutes before I had to leave otherwise I was never going to set it up.

Valentina's POV

Collette eventually left my office and I drove home. Seeing her today was everything to me.

I hate to admit it but i missed her. Today felt like she was Collette again, minus all the office visits, but the way we talked, how she worked well, and the kisses we shared, among other things.

They were fast paced and everything we needed from each other for that moment.

But then we shared a kiss. It was soft and slow. Nothing fast or rushed about it. It felt like I was telling her something.

In that moment, with how soft she made it feel and how afterwards she stuck close to me just for a moment because it felt right, made me realise, I do love this girl.

More than any metaphor can describe, she makes me feel in metaphors but I love her like something else.

It's all I could think about when I got home.
