[9 pm, Navkar Residency]

Aashna had returned from her internship. She was still staring at the message she sent to Muskan. Muskan had read the message and replied only with an 'okay'.

'I hope she's fine. I hope everything goes well from now on. I can't deal with friends turning into foes.' Aashna thought and unlocked her apartment's door. The living room was dark. After the blast from last night, the electricity issue was yet to be solved.

Aashna went further towards Girisha's room only to find her busy on her laptop and some thick books. Well, they had a life apart from their fears and sorrows. Watching Girisha so engrossed in her work, Aashna realised the gravity of their situation.

As much as she wanted to talk to Girisha, Aashna passed and went into her room to rest for a while. She could feel her health deteriorating with each passing second. This had rarely ever happened before. She was used to rigorous schedules. However, this time, she lacked the soothing company of the people she loved.

Aashna picked up her phone and clicked on Abeer's chatbox. More than a dozen messages from her were yet to be replied to.

7.02 am: [Abeer, please talk to me. Please listen to my explanation. Only for once.]

9 am: [Abeer, at least say something, please... anything!]

10.30 am: [Hey! Are you taking care of that flower bracelet I made for you? I'm sure you are! I'm thinking of making one for myself. Why don't you share some of your flowers with me for it?]

12.45 pm: [Abeer, Kush was asking about you. He wants to meet. When should we meet? Tomorrow? Day after? Anytime you would be free!]

3.05 pm: [Abeer, I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have neglected your point of view. I wasn't thinking right at that time.]

7.56 pm: [Abeer, please talk to me. I'm really very sorry...]

Aashna couldn't bring herself to believe that one wrong move by her could bring her and Abeer's relationship up to this position. Sniffing her emotions away, she typed another message with wavering hands. [Kartik said he's sorry, too. He wants to apologise to you. Let's meet and work things out, please? You can scold me there. For however long you'd like. Please talk to us...]

She kept her phone aside and fell on her bed like a sloth. Her eyelids shut themselves, immediately putting her off to sleep. Aashna adjusted her body to the messy bed she was on.

Not long after, her eyes shot open as she found herself enveloped in her blanket while her room was cleaner than before. Assuming Girisha to be the reason behind it, she sat up on the bed and looked around. She was feeling much worse than before. Where was the pain emerging from? She didn't know. All she felt was utter weakness all over her body.

She couldn't bear her physical pains anymore. She stood up and started rummaging in her drawers for some medicines but found nothing.

Aashna recalled how the other day Girisha was in her room, while she sat on her bed, wiping her tears. That day, Girisha was back after a torturous night against Dhruv and was covered in wounds and bruises. That was when Aashna had managed to put her medicines to use for Girisha and eventually, deplete them.

'Gotta go buy some, I guess. Should I? At this hour? Uh... No option.'

[11.30 pm, An empty park]

Aashna was back from a medical store. She had bought some medicines for pain, fever, and cramps along with a small water bottle. Hoping any one of them would work on whatever was wrong with her body, She gulped down her doses before some mineral water.
