Hello my loves! Just a small little gift for you all until I post the next chapter

Larry posts up on yet another rooftop, the cloud colored smoke surrounding him like a lurking ghost he has a lot on his mind at this moment. His mind is twisted and he's dangerous to everyone around him right now, his temperament won against his tranquility and he blew up violently. His leather clad hands shake as the reach up to remove his hood revealing his beautiful hair which is pulled back into a puff, his mask adorns his face like an accessory.

He's breathtaking

If only his mind wasn't swarming with venomous dipped thoughts, he's searched for the very answer of what made him this way

Drawing blanks everytime

The rain kisses the soles of his boots as he thinks, if he's correct in his timing Lau should be home now to find his poem he left him. Larry didn't say "I love you" unless he meant it and even then he said through actions not words. His actions right now are not rational and calculated as usual, he needs to get it under control and fast.

———

Lau tiredly unlocks the door immediately being welcomed by an empty home.

He's too tired to care anymore

Him and Larry had a disagreement earlier and he needs time to process everything including his feelings and where he went wrong. Walking into the house he hangs up his coat and briefcase immediately going upstairs not really having an appetite big enough to eat. He'd eat later

No he won't

Walking into the bedroom he's met with a folded piece of paper lying on his pillow, confusion takes over his expression but curiosity forces him to pick it up. Unfolding the paper he smiles at what it contains.

To my beautiful Belle,

A rose in Harlem

A beautiful accent in a world of concrete

You bloom gracefully, your beauty more full than a flower

Your heart taller than a apple tree

You dust off your wings and leave hatred in the dust

An angel in a world crowded with devils and demons

Twisted by glitz and controlled by glamour

You stay strong with your back against the wall

They can't break you

They'll never break you

My beautiful Laurent
