Bloody Hands

After dodging the attack, I ran towards Miron. He used his clever traps to stop me with a spirit attack and threw me in front of a large tree.

The tree shook as I hit it and I turned my head to the top, blowing fire at the branches. As the tree burned, I grabbed the trunk with both arms and pulled it out of the ground.

I swung the tree at Miron. This time, he didn't use his ghost power to escape but tried to protect himself with his arms. I realized that using his ghost power seemed more difficult for him than before.

Miron only used his ghost power when necessary. I knew that in order to win the war, I had to memorize his moves and respond in time. He got up from the concrete stairs he had hit and continued to look at me with aggression in his eyes.

He took off his burning clothes in one fell swoop, leaving only his trousers on. We were facing each other again on the ground floor. We were both on one side thinking about our next attacks. I waited for him to attack.

"You're more of a wolf than I thought," he said. "But you won't stop what I'm doing. I know you want to be like your father but being a hero in the eyes of men is just pretense."

"A man whose only goal is to kill is no hero," I replied.

"That may be so," he said. "But I know people well. They're ungrateful and don't care what you do for them. But they won't forget when you take something from them."

"It's ungrateful not to return a favor and despicable to return evil," I said. "My uncle taught me that and I return favors, unlike you."

Miron attacked with fury at my words. I lunged forward and we exchanged blows without pause. Our strikes were so powerful that the ground shook beneath us.

As I aimed a punch at his stomach, Miron dodged and I prepared to retreat, anticipating his counterattack. But he used his soul power to seize my outstretched hand, pulling me towards him and landing a punch on my face. I managed to escape from the punch he swung with his other arm, slightly recoiling.

As I swung another punch, Miron swiftly pushed my arm down with his elbow and wrapped his arms around my neck, lifting my foot in the air and executing a backflip. Taking advantage of the opening in his defense, I kicked him hard and followed up with a powerful shoulder hit to his chest, channeling all the strength from my legs.

Suddenly, the spirits behind me on my left and right reached out and grabbed my arms, preventing me from moving and gradually stretching me. With my chest now unprotected, Miron quickly closed in on me, his claws at the ready. I knew I had to gather all my strength and fight back against him, otherwise, a single attack on my heart could prove fatal.

Shouting and struggling to save my arms from the spirits' grasp, I focused my power and managed to break free. However, Miron was already in front of me and I dodged his attack by grabbing his claws. But he persisted, opening his mouth to unleash his poison.

Refusing to back down, I used my head to strike him repeatedly until he disappeared, using his ghost power to evade my blows.

Despite the momentary reprieve, I knew Miron would attack again, and I remained alert and ready for whatever he might throw at me.

After a brief silence, I felt the ground sway strangely. At first, I didn't understand what was happening, but by the time I realized it, it was too late. Miron emerged from beneath the ground and delivered a powerful uppercut to my face.

As I lost my balance, he grabbed one of my legs and swung me back and forth before slamming me to the ground. I couldn't reach Miron, so my only option was to brace myself.
