Silence!

Deafening silence was all that
was left in Merhotra residence hall once
Karan left. No one could utter a word.
Everyone was in their own thoughts.
Contemplating their actions, revisiting Karan's words and weighing their feelings.

Lavanya remembered how he danced
with her when Kaushik broke her heart, so that she feels better. She who literally have not done anything for Karan, ever. Not even a couple of polite words. Yet, he did put forth effort to make her feel better. Put effort to reconcile her and Kaushik despite every wrong Kaushik did towards him. All this when Kaushik had broken him so bad. How is anyone capable of that?

Ishani have never felt any lower of
herself than at this point. Maybe not blood but she was still the granddaughter of Jayant Wayangankar and instead of trying to get his revenge from her, he in turn saved her life. Risking his own in the process. Then how can someone be so resilient to
live and actually live; no depressed state
despite all the tragedies. He actually
lived with a smile. She was ready to kill
herself for one tragedy when he went through uncountable and still rose like anything. How is anyone capable of that?

Pratik had a whole lot going on inside him. He was still the only one here who
knew that, despite everything that happened, Karan holds no grudge against Kaushik. He doesn't know how... how but he still loved Kaushik the same. Like before. He has just stopped letting
Kaushik know, for God knows what reason. He, dammit, still donated half a hundred crore to the Happy Heaven orphanage in name of Manasvi Kundrra just for Kaushik's happiness. That level of pure, unconditional love. How is anyone capable of that?

Tejasswi, on the other hand, was spinning on a whole other tangent. Holding her head in between her palms, she sat there feeling guilty for going behind his back. For learning his story
from a third person. Guilty for the words
she said in the past. Yet she couldn't help
the swelling pride in her heart. She always knew Karan can withstand everything. She just knew it, somehow. Her Beasto couldn't be bent by any storm. That's why she associated him with the Lord Shiva, they were her gut instincts. Shiva who was both the protector and the destroyer, same like her Beasto.

She always felt and saw the Lord in him but now she wants to question the entire world how they never saw that in him. It's so evident. In situations where people mostly give up on life, her Beasto became life itself. Good God, the pride
she felt at the moment! He survived, he
lived and despite every heartbreak, he still loved. Only Karan is capable of that!

Considering how she reminds him of that man, she knew that it was only decent and right to maintain her distance. Leave him alone, in peace but
when it comes to him, she is selfish. She
wants him in her life. She needs him in her life and she knew, if anyone is capable of looking above the point that she is Jayant's granddaughter, it is definitely Karan. Only Karan is capable of that!

Today he actually proved that 'He can do
anything! Her Beasto can do it all!'

"Tej..." Kaushik tried to break the silence
but Tejasswi stood up. "It's better to not
have any further conversation, Kaushik. I don't want to say something harsh at the moment" she exhaled "Just want to say one small thing... you never deserved him! You neither deserved him then nor now."

"Teju..."' And that's it, Tejasswi lost her calm. Walking up to him, she held him
from his shirt collar and jerked him to
stand. Her pointed nails digging and she actually didn't give another thought that he was emotional as well and she wasn't supposed to worsen it "For the last time, Kaushik, don't try to give any excuse. Don't you dare come up with any apology because absolutely nothing can defend what happened" Her eyes held raw anger "It's been months since I have known Karan personally, you saw me. You saw how I snapped at him because he was rude to you. And all you would say is that, there is a bad past. That you did some mistakes. Man, what you did wasn't a damn mistake. It was a crime!" She pushed him away, making him fall on the couch while it took everything in Lavanya not to be there.
