Thank you for choosing "Paper Promises." It really means a lot to me. I stopped writing 8 years ago and chose a different path, pero iba yata talaga kapag mahal mo... babalikan mo. Char!
Kidding aside, I do hope you enjoy this 20-chapter story (plus prologue, epilogue, two special chapters, and a bonus content) and with some long chapters split into two parts. It's not a slow-burn story, it's a whirlwind romance. Imagine yourself watching a series, per episode (per chapter in this case), may ganap, may something. I do hope na napanindigan ko nga siyang gano'n. Every fifth chapter is Andrew's POV, while the rest of the chapters were narrated by Aliyah.
Chapter names are either literally or figuratively the center of each chapter's plot. As cliché as the story description is... fake relationship, contracted romance, hidden feelings, etc., there is something more to this story. Sinikap kong gawing exciting ang plot. I hope matawa ka, mainis ka, magalit ka, kiligin ka (or maiyak?) I just hope that somehow, you will feel something while reading this. Please do leave comments, and I'll happily answer them.
Lastly, this is my first story, and I haven't edited it yet. It may contain grammatical and typographical errors. I do appreciate it if you point them out too.
