29~ Day 1 of winning her heart

It's been 4 days already since Satya has not met or heard anything about Shiv. Kabir has brought her to his penthouse. Malti is shifted with them too. To her surprise, Kabir let Shaurya live with them too even though none of them is talking to him. He stays in Malti's room most of the time.

Satya is loving spending time with her brother. In just 4 days she has grown a deep bond with her and Kabir is fulfilling all those years without his family with so much love and care. He did not even go to office just because he is spending time with his sister.

Satya glance at her phone and wondered why Shiv is not calling her. Last time, he left with anger. So it means he is angry with her? By why? Isn't sge supposed to behave she don't care then why it is hurting her.

She will wait for him till night. She want him to come and apologize but did not he do that before? He regretted his decision and even told her she can take her time. It was her who said she does not want to live with him anymore.

She chuckled.

She loves him, so much that she cannot bear separatiom of days. Months and years are far talk.

Satya sighed softly and thought to exit the room.

Satya reached in the kitchen. She stopped on her track and her father too stopped whatever he was doing. Satya glance at the dish he has prepared. Its her favorite dish. Kabir must have told him.

" Oh sorry. I will leave."

He said, washed his hands then left the room. He knows his children, mostly Satya does not like his presence. But do she really?

Satya stayed there for some good seconds before going out of the kitchen. She fasten her pace and grabbed his hand from behind. Shaurya turn to her and felt his heart clenching seeing teary eyes of his daughter.

Did he do something again? Did she taste the dish and found it tasteless?- Shaurya wondered nervously.

" I am really sorry, pl..please forgive me for being disrespectful to you."

She stuttered and look down as she broke into sob. Shaurya eyes turned watery too and he shake his head side to side before cupping her cheeks.

" You don't have any fault, love. You have every right to stay angry with me. Don't be sorry-"

Satya hugged him and hide her face against his father's embrace.

" I hate you I hate you I hate you, Baba."

She blabbered but the only word that melt Shaurya heart was- baba. She called him baba for first time. Smile formed against his lips and tears stream down from his eyes.

" Never leave us again..."

Satya complained while crying against his chest. No matter how much she tried keeping her heart stone, at the end daughter melted for her father. She has seen him doing secret efforts to win her heart. He even come during night to pat her head when he realize that she was asleep but she was never.

In these 4 days she slept by his patting only. His care, warmth calmed the storm in her heart.

" I am really sorry, baby. Your baba is so sorry."
