I was at the point with my injury that Cameron didn't need to come to the studio anymore. Though I still iced it, I could walk around, favoring my other foot still, but I didn't need to be carried. It was the third week, and hopefully the last, with this sprain, and after the competition the doctor would hopefully clear me to dance again.

"Come on girls, let's go!" Abby yelled, "Let go, let go!"

We all walked in, and I guess she took notice that Cameron wasn't there.

"Claire I see we are back." She said

"This should be her last week off, we are going after the competition to get her cleared." My mother said

Abby nodded as I sat down on the ice line my foot.

"Finally, overall high score, junior groups. Let's move on to the pyramid. First, we have Brooke, probation, and no solo this week. Paige same thing. Brooke, Paige, you didn't do your routines. Nobody got to see them." Abby said

"They didn't do their solos because they weren't prepared. They didn't do their solos because of unfair treatment, and you trying to get Claire to dance even though she is, clearly where everyone can see, injured!" Kelly said, raising her voice with the last sentence.

"Well, regardless, it doesn't matter," Abby said

Claire interview:

"I never know why the moms uhh, get mad at me, or think anything is unfair. They need to just shut their mouths sometimes."

"Claire. You're here because you didn't dance at all. So there is nothing to talk about, nothing to go off of. Next Chloe. Last Monday you went to the doctor, then you went to the movies. That's ridiculous. You need to be in class, not a the movie theater. Cassandra, you did okay in the group. Some things were a little sloppy. Mackenzie, you did a great job, but it wasn't your best. You need to be in more ballet classes. Nia, you're here because you worked very well with Mackenzie. I gave you a role. You were the ringmaster in a Circus. Some may say it's a little immature for you, but I loved the fact that you embraced it, that you had fun with it, and that you were entertaining to the audience. And at the top of the pyramid, we have Maddie." Abby said

Since I was on the ground, I couldn't get up and hug her. But I gave her a small hug on her leg. And flashed her a smile when she looked down at me.

"You stepped out on stage, you started your routine, and your music skipped. You didn't let it get the best of you. You stayed out there, you kept going, and you finished without missing a beat. You had the audience behind you. So I don't know what happened with the CD. It just scratched. But we need to move on. Now this week we will be attending the Energy Dance Competition again. It's in Waterford Township, Michigan. Last week when I called to enter the routines, Gina, the owner, told me there are two studios specifically coming to beat the Abby Lee Dance Company. Let's talk about the group number. It's called "Silver Spoon," silver meaning the finest flatware, meaning the luxuries of life, the country club, the finest schools. So this is a pretty dance. We also have a prop. We have a big giant spoon, and you pass the spoon around throughout the routine. I want to talk about the rest of the numbers for this week. Maddie, you and Chloe will be doing a duet. It's called "Inside of Me." And it would help if you worked together. You need to be a team. I want to see that teamwork, once again. Understood? Nia, you're going to have a solo this week. It is called "Bound." It means you're being held back while you're trying to chase your dream. Mackenzie, you're doing a solo. Your dance is called "Daisy Chain." You're like a flower, and you're thinking, "He Loves Me, he loves me not." And it's not just Bieber, it's the judges. Understood? Maddie, you will be doing "Helen Keller." You will be deaf, you will be blind, and you will be mute. So you need to be in character and you need a rag doll to bring to rehearsal. All right moms, you can go. All right spread apart girl, Claire stay icing that foot." Abby said
