"Come on girls, let's go. Join the party." Abby called out
We all walked in and got into our lines.
"So did everybody have a good time in Chicago?" Abby asked out
"Yes!" I heard Cassandra yell.
"All right, now let's talk about our group dance. I thought it was beautiful. I thought the costumes looked gorgeous on everybody. I gave everybody a challenge with acting. You all did it. All right, now Maddie, you did a solo this week. I know there were some boys you were worried about, but you beat them, and so did you Claire. You can't psych yourself out backstage. Understood?"Abby asked
"Yes," Maddie said
"Yes ma'am." I also said
"Nia, I watched the trio and I watched you closely. I feel that you were a beat behind. It's the difficult technical things that you have trouble with. That's what you need to keep working on. Understand?"Abby told Nia.
"Yes," Nia said while nodding her head.
"We have a lot to do. I'm going to get right to the pyramid. At the bottom of the pyramid. Chloe, you were one of the most advanced dancers sitting in this group, but I want more from you. You need a challenge. You need to work up to the next level."Abby said

Abby interview:
"Chloe is one of my top dancers, and I have something big coming up. So I put her at the bottom of the pyramid because I need to light a fire under her butt."

"Remember, there is no I in the team, but there is an M and an E, and it's all about me. Understood? All right, moving on. Nia. Nia, that trio, you wanted it. You got in it. Like I said, you have the style and the sass, but the rest of it is a mess. Next Cassandra. You didn't pull my eye in the group. When you came in after Mackenzie and did those couple of Front Limbers, you were not controlled, and they looked sloppy. Next, Mackenzie. You improve each week. You learn and new trick, every time you come into the studio. But I don't want it to be just gymnastics. Got it? Next Paige, you did a great job. Did your part. I wanted more in the group. The trio was fabricated, you were a little late in some parts. And next is Brooke. I thought that your part of the group dance was excellent. Just watch the chin in the chin stand. No more ickies. Next, I have Claire. You did that Ballet dance, you got second place. I'm proud. And on top of the pyramid is Maddie. You won the overall high score. You beat Justice and that other girl. You beat all the boys. Congratulations." Abby said
I gave Maddie a side hug while telling her congratulations.
"Moving on, I need to talk a little bit about this week. There's going to be a scout from the Joggery Ballet in Michigan at Energy Dance. He is scouting kids to go to an audition for Joffery." Abby told us.
