Part 9: Into Lecelnan Land the NWU Army March

Captain Miller pivoted and activated his MPARC/T. "All teams, forwarding conversation data. Report if similar location discovered. Perseus, Hotrod, the others, get the fuck over here! We need that TTRS up!" The other TF-X members arrived and Hotrod immediately threw something to the ground. It was a TTRS pod, and a burst of yellow energy emerged from ventilation holes in the item. 

Orange drones flew out of the object, forming into the image of many people lined up in front of the pit. The drones also formed into their firearms, which were definitively confirmed to be Lecelnan firearms. A voice from a drone-figure was audible from the back of the line of people, presumably the general. The figure seemed to yell something, and the people who held guns pulled their triggers.

 Captain Miller and the other TF-X members watched with extreme disapproval and disgust, watching the bodies fall into the places they were now. Captain Miller ended the recording. "All units, forwarding video. Init(iate) search and destroy on, uhh." Captain Tommy scanned the figure standing at the far back. "General Glitbert 'Slaughterhouse' Leben." He paused. "Who the fuck named this guy- anyway, target, designated Alpha, 's in a fortified compound at grid squ[are] Fig 44. If he surrenders, gotta accept it."

He turned to the others with him. "Let's go?" He received a unanimous nod of approval, and the group had now opted to jetpack towards the compound. Fire from the 3rd Artillery, who was also providing extra fire support, alongside missile and laser strikes from the SSTB ships sailing down the main northern river. The compound, also with the misfortune of being placed out in the open, came under heavy fire from aircraft as well.

The compound had been thoroughly bombarded with bunker buster munitions by the time the TF-X operators arrived, which is to say it had been bombarded for a solid ninety (90) seconds. The compound spanned multiple city blocks, covered in anti aircraft emplacements, though it was located underground save for a single ramp leading into the compound, where Lecelnan trucks that hadn't been destroyed floored in.

The TF-X operators, alongside infantry units from the 123rd and 21st, rushed in alongside the operators. HIMCW, M4A9, PLLMG, and M250O/U fire rained on the Lecelnans as they arrived, and those that fled or hid behind cover also found themselves not so lucky. ISUGVs also killed many of those who attempted to flee, and those who surrendered had the misfortune of watching their comrades next to them either be incinerated or exploded.

They rapidly advanced through the compound, while others stayed behind to simply wallhack shoot the other unfortunate Lecelnans who were behind the walls and scrambling to respond, and warheads designed to penetrate through many-layered walls indeed did their jobs and exploded inside Lecelnan vehicles, leaving their crews and drivers in states of limbo without their vehicles, unable to react.

Some moved to take rifles from the armory, before being shot immediately through the wall and the armory then subsequently being exploded by an M154 warhead, and the ammo crates placed in the armory immediately cooked off and destroyed that entire quarter of the facility, killing likely hundreds of Lecelnans. The rest were being picked off like flies as well.

The general had just finished his morning routine when the New World Union was arriving. He was currently at his office in the compound, signing the execution 'mandates' of the alleged 'New World Union spies'. He scratched his mustache for a second, before continuing to sign death 'mandates' for random people he thought he knew to be spies.
