"Thaumaturginite Debrief"

Members of Sergeant Allen's fireteam, now nicknamed the "tunnel rats", began to enter the second debriefing room after watching their leader be specifically told to enter the debriefing room before, not knowing of his assignment. Corporal James, the de-facto second in command of the fireteam due to his rank, took a seat at the front.

Everyone turned their gaze and attention towards the stage, where Head of Thaumaturgical Research Meep (friend character 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯) began to debrief them from their mission and explained to them what the material their CO had just dropped in the analyzer was.  "Thaumaturginite. This artifact made of this mineral ALONE has almost as much as 97.1243% of the processing power of all of our military and civilian infrastructure, according to the analyzer."

He held the decently sized artifact for everyone in the room to see. "From all of us at the New World Union Bureau of Thaumaturgy and from the government themselves, we thank you for bringing us our future." The fireteam's members all nodded in a form of wordlessly saying "you're welcome." Meep then continued, "This material, the gear, and the fabricators you brought to us will be invaluable for our future military and civilian endeavors.-"

"As a thank you and to test magical weapons and gear at the same time, all of you including Sergeant Allen may hand in your gear and weapons at the quartermaster to apply improved enchantments of your choice, as well as access to every weapon attachment issued to up to UADT operators." The Head Researcher finished speaking.

As soon as the Head Researcher went silent and began to exit the room, a party seemed to have broken out in the debriefing room, since the members of "Fireteam Tunnel Rats" were extremely elated to receive new weapon and gear upgrades. They began to exit the debriefing room shortly after and proceeded to the quartermaster, lining up as they did so in order to streamline the upgrade process for her.

Their fireteam leader Sgt. Allen heard this commotion from the other debriefing room and when he was done being debriefed, he realized they were heading down the other hallway, which would lead to the quartermaster. Allen got up and eventually reached where his fireteam was heading.

He saw Corporal James first, and decided to speak with him. "Yo! Corporal!" "Yeah, sir?" James responded, and Allen headed over to him. "What made y'all so happy in the other room?" "Big ol' gear upgrade sir." He responded. "Am I also able to get more gear, Corporal?" Allen asked, pretty curious. "Of course, sir. Thauma man said so." "Sweet!" Allen lined up along with the others to give his gear to the quartermaster lady. 

A well-dressed guy in a black trench coat was also leaning in the corner, wearing a now-familiar monochromatic gas mask. A Co-Director of the EXTF had personally traveled to the Monolith, and was chilling in the corner. Sgt. Allen began to get a feeling that told him to go talk to the guy, so he did. The guy however, talked first. "You're Sergeant Allen, yeah? Wanna join the EXTF?"
