Task Force Xeno

The operators belonging to Task Force Xeno were now waking up from their PRRDs and reporting for duty. Allen // Perseus almost immediately cracked open a snack REM, quickly eating its contents and dematerializing the box. He decided to eat a light snack and get ready, since he knew that the proper Operation Primo Victoria would begin in earnest. 

He activated his tactical gear, patted his turtle plushie, and exited his barracks room, the door shutting behind him. The windows all around the base showed that it was indeed raining heavily, the raindrops slamming against whatever they touched. Perseus boarded the elevator, activating the button for the ground floor.

He exited, almost immediately meeting with the other Task Force operators. The Captain whirled around, noticing his presence. He extended his hand for a very bro-style handshake. "What's up, Staff Sergeant?" The Captain laughed. "Doin' good." was his response to that. "Some top-brass guy is showing up to wish us good luck and shit. Wanna come see?" "Sure, why not."

He lead them over to the person in question, who Allen recognized. His name was Tempus, and he was wearing what seemed like a heavily customized and heavily upgraded M365 exoskeleton. He turned, noticing the Task Force members' arrival, and gave each one of them also bro-style handshakes, as if they had known each other since they were kids. He now turned to the Staff Sergeant, who he greeted.

"Yo, 'wassup Staff Sergeant Allen?" He offered a handshake, which the Sergeant accepted. "You the new guy, yeah?" His response was a nod, and he nodded back. "Welcome to Task Force Xeno, best handpicked warriors in reality or something." He chuckled, continuing. "I'm sure you heard that when my dad recruited you, but eh." He shrugged, chuckling. "Thank you, sir." Perseus responded.

"Operation's starting soon. Let's get to our AGCFV, yeah?" Captain Miller said, as he tapped Perseus's shoulder. The Staff Sergeant's response was a nod, and he turned to go back to the AGCFV now designated for Task Force Xeno. As the Staff Sergeant looked around, he could see the base stretching on for miles, with all of the vehicles in the operation either parked in underground stations or already preparing for deployment.

Even the two M985 supertanks had prepared already, and were preparing to deploy. Massive clouds of smoke were visible even rising above the wall, the results of the bombs dropped to expand rivers for allowing SSTB ships to pass through. Even DoD-sanctioned media vehicles had showed up, as brightly painted MPH-07s and M1202 trucks.

The massive gates placed around the ground installations dropped open, and surges of vehicles began driving through in massive hundred-mile long convoys, though whole convoys only took minutes to exit the gates. Battlestations also now began to manifest outside the base, also joining existing convoys and taking centerplace.

The convoys were visible unzoomed and unmagnified from orbit, though Lecelnan satellites were unable to track them due to jamming and interference vehicles, only rendering static-y screens that provided no military value, or any value, really. The convoys moved along, not even following the roads and occasionally crossing over terrain such as sand dunes to arrive at the defensive wall. Gates in the wall flipped to the side, and the convoys went through.

The surge of New World Union firepower rolled over the Lecelnan sands and the sandworms that dug around underground found their hunting senses overwhelmed by the sheer amount of rumbling from New World Union vehicles. Argo-class and CAELUM-class drone carriers and airships flew overhead alongside massive formations of rotor-based aircraft such as AH-54s, MPH-07s, and even IC-41 gunships. Massive flights of aircraft went ahead at incredible speeds as well.
