"One-Sided Slaughter"

The 15th Division of 9th Corps is beginning to reach the area of Batvardnya City, with the sands ahead that seemed to stretch on forever in front of them began to end at the edge of the city in the distance, being replaced with lush grass. 

They begin to pull up on an oasis with several taller-than-normal trees, which had been marked as a designated rally point for the Lesospians and the Unioners. The APCs, armored vehicles, and attached air assets loitered in a circular formation around the oasis, waiting for their allies to catch up.

They didn't have to wait long, as they detected several large contacts a few hundred miles away. "Got contacts on radar, few hundred klicks north." said an ATM-47 Controller, then saying "C-tacts (Contacts in slang form) look like export model AH-54s." "Probably the Lesospians arriving from over the Lecelnan Union," said a tanker. "Rog'." replied the ATM-47 controller.

Less than a minute later, the AH-53s had arrived, and they hovered near the formation, attempting contact as they did so. Shortly after, they got through. "This is Wodan flight transmitting to the 15th Division, how contact?" "Good transmission, Wodan flight. You guys're the Lesospians, right?" came the response. "Mhm. Plenty of thanks for the gear."

"Of course. Ready to attack Batvardnya?" "As ready as ever." "The fuck we waiting for then? LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOO!!" At this, the armored vehicles set off for Batvardnya, with air assets and Wodan flight above. As their engines engaged, the oasis they were at not 5 seconds ago was blanketed in sand, as they soon arrived at the outskirts of the city.

"Close-Quarters Battle"

15th HB-D, Wodan Flight

Batvardnya City Outskirts, Balingian Empire

Wodan flight's AH-54s begin to land and deposit their troops, depositing about a thousand newly trained and equipped Lesospian operatives, along with 500 special Lesospian infantry equipped with newer semi-automatic rifles that resemble the M1 Garand, as opposed to their older more-Mondragon type rifles.

M60 VTOLs began gun/rocket runs across the edge of the city before the Lesospians could reach it, and the VTOLs were following paved roads where they could. This resulted in the annihilation of Balingian outer defense, as Lesospians charged into the city in two formations; one composed of their special infantry and the ones equipped with New World Union gear. The 15th Division however took a more cautious route, bombarding their unofficial part of the city.

VTOLs began to strafe in grids, with some VTOLs attacking from the north and from the south, with others from over Carbomagne Lake in the west and attacking from the east, once again following roads where possible. After a few minutes of bombardment, the 15th began storming the city, infantry dismounting from their APCs and moving in along with their MMPFP-4202s to annihilate buildings with signs of enemy life inside.

Once the 15th had cleared their area, they moved over to aid the Lesospians, discovering 30 of the special infantry unit had been killed. Understanding that their ally was taking casualties, MMPFPs raced to Lesospian positions to reinforce them and take out buildings. A few minutes later, the remaining buildings were cleared, and the Lesospians and the 15th Division returned to their APCs and choppers, respectively, along with their revived comrades.
