Part 9: Into Lecelnan Land the NWU Army March

Shortly after, the two divisions met inside the city, and elected to construct a base near the city and across the river, holding naval, ground, and air assets. An IC-41 dropped in the base, and the 123rd, composed of zero humanoids, also began building the base. It was completed in a few seconds, and the 21st Armored, along with the rest of their HB-Division, headed off towards Tohacsaza alone.

The 21st Armored, along with the members of TF-X, slammed through Lecelnan defenses and, not AN HOUR LATER, arrived at the outskirts of Tohacsaza. Fires raged and burned in the city, their plumes rising into the sky taller than the city's skyline, and fires burned behind the 21st, who destroyed and annihilated any Lecelnan position they found, though not forgetting their Rules of Engagement. 

The 3rd HB-Division, who had just finished up a series of raids on Lecelnan positions far away, also pulled up to meet with the 21st HB-Division. They set up a temporary perimeter around the city, so that they could plan. After a few minutes of eventful planning, it was decided to broadcast a warning and shell the city with both artillery and aircraft.

For the 3rd Artillery, they expected to expend about one million shells and curved photon particles, and they got to work. The TF-X members broadcasted a warning to the city. "Tohacsaza, this is the New World Union's 21st, 123rd and 3rd Divisions. We are requesting for you to surrender, so please, respond." A voice came onto the city's loudspeakers. "Go fuck yourselves."

Captain Tommy, the TF-X member who initiated the broadcast, nodded to himself, expecting that answer. When drones saw no civilians and heat signatures at the surface and large concentrations in the city's bunkers, SPGs began firing and leveling the city, and missiles then begin exploding as bombers now began to arrive, firing ADGMBs and SAM/AGM missiles. Their turret emplacements also lit up like stars, bombarding the city with concentrated high-end billion degree lasers and starting uncontrollable fires.

The SPGs begin to take their time bombing the city, dumping their expected one million shells downrange over the course of a few minutes, leaving the city smoking and burning. The massive city was now an inferno, and after the millionth shell was expended and the bombers had dropped bombs, the 123rd and other Infantry Divisions that had arrived began pushing through. 

Several groups began to secure the bunkers, escorting the civilians safely out and to the city's outskirts along with all of their belongings, which had somehow survived the bombardment. Shortly after, a TF-X member, Darkstar, found something which shocked even him and garnered a disgusted look. "Captain, can you please get the fuck over here? I found something." "Uhh, roger that, Darkstar." 

Captain Tommy arrived and he too looked where Darkstar was looking, a pit. It was a rather deep pit, but what it was filled with disgusted him the most. There were piles and piles of bodies of Lecelnan civilians, all badly burned and wounded. Something most visible on the bodies was gunshot wounds, with wound profiles that, after Tommy scanned them, matched the wounding profile of the Lecelnan 6.5x49 and 9x54 bullets.

"What the fuckkk-- they pulled a Final Solution..." He desperately scanned around, looking for survivors. He spotted a single heat signature in the pile of cold bodies, and dove down to grab the survivor. Tommy left him on the ground outside the pit, and gave the man a stimshot. He woke up after previously being out cold. "You ok there, sir?" Captain Tommy started recording the conversation's audio as well.

"Th-they blamed us for being spies." He stuttered. "And n-no, I'm n-n-not ok, they killed my w-whole family for being sp-spies. B-bl-blamed us f-for- uh- fum-mbling the war..." "Ok, ok, who the fuck did this?" Captain Miller responded, pissed off. "It was some general... I don't remember his nn-name, but th-they called him General Slaughterhouse. He's p-probably in some underground hideout in the city."
