Eid-al-adha fell on the 27th of the month of June. The Ahmed's spent the first day of Eid having lunch with the Ibrahim's.

Various dishes were prepared by Amal for the guests and bilkisu was there to help her with everything while zayd played with his granddaughter. "Mama! I hope everything will go well, I'll go set the table." Bilkisu said about to pick up a cooler filled with food.

"No you will not do that, your in-laws could arrive at any time so go dress up, everyone is ready and you're still here in your pajamas." Amal complained which made bilkisu roll her eyes internally.

"Fine fine mama, I'll go have my bath and change." Bilkisu said as she turned around to leave. "Better." Amal said with a satisfied smile.

Bilkisu entered her room and stripped, she wrapped a towel around her body and went into the bathroom.

She took her time and had a good bath. Bilkisu picked up the gown she had carefully picked out from the ones the tailor brought.

A red lace material had been sewn into a fitted gown which hugged bilkisu's hourglass figure. The hand was fley at the end and overall the gown was a very beautiful one. Bilkisu tied a matching headpiece into a simple turban and put on jewelry.

Bilkisu picked up her phone and saw different messages from different people saying Eid Mubarak. She answered Firdausi's text first and then others.

Amal texted saying the Ahmed's were here. Thankful that she was ready, Bilkisu headed downstairs.

While bilkisu was excited, she was also a bit nervous. She smiled once her in laws came into view. She knelt infront of umar first greeting him and then hamida next.

Bilkisu was happy that Akram didn't come but her happiness only lasted for a while because the main door clicked open and Akram who was in an ash kaftan and babbaringa with beautiful embroidery stepped in.

Bilkisu's mood dampened and the smile on her face disappeared. She smiled again when she realized she was still in front of her in laws.
