Burst/Season 1 Shu Kurenai x Dying!reader

"S-Shu... I..." Before you could finish your sentence, you suddenly fall over the bench on pain.

"(Name)?!" Shu tried to help you but you pushed him away.

"Leave me alone!" You shouted at him before stood up and run off, leaving an albino behind.

"W-wait!" Shu shouted, but you ignored him.

'W-what's happened to her...?'

Back to you.

You were running and got bumped into someone and luckily, that someone is Daigo, caught you.

"(Name)? You alright?" Daigo asked. You shakily nodded and gulped. To be honest, you seems to trust Daigo than the others.

"Daigo, can we go and talk in private?" You asked.

"Sure,"

"But not on the rooftop!"

Daigo was taken back but slowly nodded.

"Behind the gym?"

"Y-yeah..."

Timeskip

You and Daigo were meeting up behind the gym. But what you didn't know that a certain albino blader were spying on you.

"So, what's up?" Daigo asked. You sighed.

"I will tell you this but don't tell the Beyclub,"

"Sure,"

"I... I have a sickness... called heart virus..."

Silent.

Daigo's eyes widened in shock.

"W-What...?"

"I don't know how long will I live..."

"(Name)..."

A tear drop from your eyes.

"I'm S-sorry..."

"(Name)..."

"Don't tell anyone about my condition, Daigo..." You frowned. The grim reaper blader nodded and pat your shoulder.

Timeskip after school

You sighed as the school is over. As you were walking out from your classroom, Shu suddenly grab your wrist and drag you towards the rooftop.

"H-hey! W-wha?!"

You two arrived at the rooftop and Shu harshly push you in, making you almost lose balance but luckily, you managed to stay still.

"S-Shu?" Your eyes shows fear. You didn't even notice the whole Beyclub were watching.

"You have sickness and didn't even tell me?!" Shu looks worried and heartbroken.

"H-how did you know that?!" Your eyes widened.

"Your conversation with Daigo at lunch, I was there,"

"..."

"You could have told us, you could have told me,"

"I was afraid, okay?!" You snapped, making Shu's eyes widened at your outburst. "I'm close to dying! Listen, I like you ever since we both first meet!" Shu gasped. You didn't even notice you were crying.

"I... I don't have much time to live..."

Silent.

Shu didn't even notice his tears fall over his cheeks.

"(N-Name)..."

"I love you, Shu..."

Without thinking, he grab your face to make you face him and smashed his lips against yours. Your eyes widened. You didn't hear the Beyclub was gasped.

Shu pulled away the kiss and put his forehead against yours.

"I'm sorry... I didn't know..."

"It's alright..."

"I love you too, (Name)..."

Few weeks later

Shu placed the flowers on the tomb. He sadly sighed and look at the name of the tomb.

(Name) (Last Name)

Shu silently cried. Without you, he's nothing.

"Shu?"

Shu wiped off his tears and turned his head to see Valt.

"You okay?" Valt frowned. Shu nodded.

"Don't worry," Valt give his best friend a smile. "You have us with you,"

Shu looked at the tomb and then, look at Valt, he slightly smiled.

"Yeah..."

"Come on, my mom made beybread,"

"I would like that,"

Shu stood up and took one last glance towards the tomb, he smiled. Turning around, he followed his best friend to Aoi Bakery.
