Part 7: The Lecelnan Incident, 35794

Start from the beginning

He alerted his fireteam, firing a recon M108 out of his underbarrel grenade launcher and then punching it with his arm upgrade, causing it to fly through the door. His suspicions (sus!!!1!!1!) were proven correct, as there were multiple 20mm rotary-gun sentry turrets placed at the corners of the room. The turrets had briefly locked onto the grenade, but not well enough to fire. "Team, we got about six security turrets in the room, 20mm kind. EMP, then shields on three." Allen alerted them.

"Sending it." Allen fired an EMP through the door, kicking it down then and having his teammates flank him shields up as they blasted the already stunned turrets, the poor turrets facing the wrath of 12.7, 16.51, 20, 23, 30, and 50mm munitions. The corners of the room were trashed, and Allen picked up the slate.

He pivoted, seeing another room nearby with crates lining it. He performed a hand command and transmitted another command, both telling his fireteam to stack up on him. He rotated his TSCAR and its underbarrel grenade launcher to pointing at the heavy metal door that seemed standard in this place, and the grenade slammed through the door accelerated by a rather baller punch, which exploded inside the room.

The door was also blown off by the explosion, and now fully visible were armor and weapon racks and crates lining the walls. Allen ran into the room with his team right behind him, finding not only a pile of slates and other items, but also some abandoned weapons and armor still on the racks. They were in great condition and still usable, so Allen issued an order to his group.

"Alright fellas, secure the loot like we were at Sarnin and forward the messages to those Russian or whatever guys alongside forwarding to HQ." The group did what was asked of them and bagged up the loot, also sending pictures of the slates and then proper typed out messages. They decided to also honestly bring the slates to the OFR, also hoping to make an ally out of them.

They backtracked their way out of the rather empty compound, some of the group breaking off and searching for anything they might miss if they left immediately for a few minutes, soon bringing back several items to the VTOL. The VTOL undocks, and it races off with the others, soon breaching the surface and then flying to the New World Union base on Condetena.

The VTOLs arrive only a few minutes later, rapidly offloading the items in secure and durable crates, being given to bots and drones to sort out and store. The fireteam all collectively head for their barracks, and Allen now has an opportunity to rest after his two days of extrauniversal-alien base clearing.

Drones take over the courier role here now, a few of them flying into the ground and into the mantle to deliver the slates and items to Morozov and the OFR R/M Station. Morozov himself takes the crates that contained the slates, bringing them to security/scanning areas to have them processed.

"Primo Victoria, part One"

December 6, 542 - 04:20:24

31st through 100-th HB-Divisions

Condetena Base

Republic of Lesospian, Thuia

Just like the start of the invasion of the Balingian Empire, portals now opened in Condetena Base, the New World Union's officially sanctioned military base to protect Condetena, the northernmost island in all of Thuia, which also falls under sovereign Republic of Lesospian territory. Hundreds and then THOUSANDS of battlestations roll out of the portals, followed by aerial portals.

The 21st Armored in particular, the armored section of the 21st HB-Division, were already preparing and upgrading their vehicles with customization kits and the latest tech, also applying special paints and armor to boost their aerodynamic characteristics and thus boost speed. Other divisions were also performing the same, though the 21st Armored finished before the 22nd could.

They were already heading to the docks to board New World Union IC-41-derived landing crafts, and not long after the division had fully boarded, some through other portals however. The IC-41s sailed through the water, following the already-deployed 20th Armored's landing vehicles and the massive naval fleet surrounding them.

This operation, codenamed rather tastefully Primo Victoria, was to be four different landings across the shores of the Lecelnan Union. However, this was not the landings in Helios III's Normandy in 19444; the enemy still had a naval and aerial presence. The naval fleet was to engage those elements, while the landing force would literally and symbolically trample the Lecelnan Union's soil, and the terrestrial nature of the operation hoped to also provide extreme moral damage to the enemy and those who would oppose the New World Union.
