Chapter 17

Radhi, pulling away from Shivi's touch, exclaimed, "Chi !! yaar Shivi, tu kaisi tharki baatein karti hai?"

(Oh, Shivi, what kind of flirtatious talk is this?)

Shivi chuckled and said, "Baatein... main to baatein ke alawa bhi bahut kuch karti hoon, batana shuru karu?"

(Talk? I did much more than just talk; should I start listing?)

"Shivi bahut hua yaar, ab to bas kar",Radhi said, expressing a mix of frustration and exhaustion.

(Enough, Shivi. Please, just stop)

"Come on, Radhi, you've become so boring and unromantic," Shivi said, expressing a hint of disappointment.

"Fine, so now I'm starting to seem boring to you. Well then, go be with someone who you find interesting," Radhi said, pretending to be annoyed.

Upon hearing that, Shivi immediately changed her tone and said, "Oh, I was just joking. You are the most interesting and romantic. There's no one better than you."

"Okay, okay, fine. I understand now, don't butter me up," Radhi declared.

"Alright, if you're not in the mood for compliments," Shivi said, a hint of playfulness in her voice.

"Okay, leave all that aside and tell me when and where is this get-together," Radhi asked.

"Do hafte baad , Goa me," Shivi informed.

(Two weeks later, in Goa)

"Jab get-together do hafte baad hai, to tu abhi se excited kyun hai?", Radhi asked.

(Why are you excited already when the get-together is two weeks away?)

"Yaar, ek to shaadi aur job ke beech is kadar fas gayi ki honeymoon ke baad thik se ghoom hi nahi paayi, to obviously main khush to hogi hi na," Shivi explained.

(After getting stuck between marriage and job in such a way that I couldn't even enjoy a proper vacation after the honeymoon, so obviously I would be excited for sure)

"Oo hello Mrs. Parihar, aapki shaadi
6 mahine pehle hi hui hai," Radhi said.

(Hello, Mrs. Parihar. Your wedding took place just six months ago)

"Still, Mr. Parihar should take me somewhere for a outing, but he is just focused on work, work, work," Shivi said , with the hint of disappointment.

With the sound of her phone's alarm, Radhi checked the time and said to Shivi, "Shivi, it's time for me to go. I have a patient awaiting a minor surgery."

"Thik hai, jao," Shivi said reluctantly.

Radhi then informed Shivi, got up from the sofa, exited her cabin, and went back to the surgery room.

Shivi, standing there, watched Radhi leave and muttered to herself ,"I seem to have found both a best friend and a husband who are overly focused on work."

Completing her tasks at 2 AM, Radhi remarked , "Oh, I'm so exhausted today," as she entered her cabin and settled down on the sofa.

Radhi was exhausted, and her entire back was aching, but even considering stopping crossed her mind, she couldn't halt.

The last time she lay on the sofa, her back had seized up, and she couldn't afford a repeat.

Radhi summoned courage to drive home, the clock striking 3 AM upon her arrival.

As she parked, heading towards her house, she spotted Visha in the garden, lost in a late-night phone call.

As Radhi observed Visha in the garden at this late hour, she couldn't help but wonder about the reasons behind Visha's presence.

""Yeh Visha itni raat mein garden mein kyun hai? aur yeh kisse baat kar rahi hai?" Radhi questioned herself, a sense of curiosity mixed with a tinge of suspicion lingering in her thoughts.

(Why would Visha come to the garden at such an hour)

Visha, lost in her phone, was completely unaware that someone might be watching her.

"You need to finish this work quickly; I can't afford to take too much time, or you know what will happen ," a mysterious voice on the other end of the phone cautioned.

"I understand very well, and I'm just one step away from the mission," Visha reassured, speaking discreetly into her phone.

As Radhi succumbs to her curiosity, momentarily forgetting the pain in her back, she gradually inches closer to Visha.

Radhi was just about five steps away from Visha when she suddenly feels a hand on her shoulder.

Startled, Radhi turns around to see a mysterious figure standing there.

Upon seeing the mysterious figure, Radhi questioned ,"Who are you? What do you want?"

However, the mysterious figure swiftly silences Radhi by covering her mouth with their hand.

The dim light revealed a silhouette, and Radhi, unable to make out the person's face because he was wearing a mask.

The mysterious figure spoke , "Radhi, you've come quite far in this game. But remember, curiosity can lead to unexpected outcomes."

Upon hearing the mysterious man utter his name, Radhi is taken aback.

The mysterious man moves forward, pressing a gun against Radhi's head, and declares, "Ab tumhe marna hoga."

(Now, you have to die)

Radhi, initially apprehensive at the sight of the gun, musters the courage to maintain a composed demeanor.

With a shrewd move, without giving away her intention, she skillfully delivers a powerful kick to the mysterious man's private parts, catching him off guard.

Radhi's kick caused the gun to fall from the mysterious man's hand, clattering to the ground.

Writhing in pain, he collapsed beside it, his own actions backfiring.

Radhi seized the opportunity, her quick and strategic move turning the tables in this mysterious encounter.

Radhi crouched down, picked up the gun, and then, placing it against the mysterious man's head, she said, "Tumhe agar ye laga mujhe Radhi Aayansh Singhania ko daraana itna aasaan hai toh tum galat ho."

(If you thought scaring Radhi Aayansh Singhania is that easy, you're wrong)

"Bada shock hai na tumhe logo ko darane ka dhamki dene ka, par iss baar tumne galat insaan se panga le liya," Radhi continued, removing the mask from her own face, revealing her identity.

(Quite a shock, huh? Trying to intimidate people, but this time, you messed with the wrong person)

As the mask came off, the person in front of Radhi was left completely stunned.
