This is the last of the holiday art bonuses of wee, tiny drawings I have to share this year. For those of us who hate holidays (or are sick of fa-la-la-ing) here is something special, just for you:
A drawing of a giant, hot pink slug.
Why? Because giant, hot pink slugs are cool, of course!
Also, because, let's face it: Nothing quite says "Happy New Year" than a giant slug...right?
FUN FACT: Giant hot pink slugs exist IRL! The (2nd) drawing below was inspired by the Kaputar slug, which can be found only on the dormant Kaputar volcano in Australia. It apparently can be up to 11" in length. So, this drawing (less than an 1" across) is only 1/10 the size of the creature it pays homage to. In keeping with the HOLIDAY BONUS game theme, this is something I drew for a friend who has a Prosper commander deck (Magic: the Gathering).
BONUS BONUS: The Prosper deck makes a lot of slug creatures while in play. Below is also a drawing for a slug token I drew for that same deck. TONS OF SLUGS FOR EVERYONE - ENJOY!! (Sorry, I've just always wanted to say that.)
MAY YOUR 2023 END WELL. See you in 2024! +Kat
