- in winter 2018 Heechul finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend on their fifth relationship anniversary - they got officially married on October 2, 2019 (civilian procedure) with only their families - following the Korean traditions Misa still uses her japanese surname - but she changed her Korean surname into Kim, following the japanese traditions - Heechul and Misa originally wanted to have their wedding party after their child's birth but couldn't due to the pandemic - they celebrated their wedding party on their third wedding anniversary on October 2, 2022 with a lot of known celebrities

- on December 8, 2019 Misa and Heechul welcomed their first child babyboy Kim Jonghyun/ Wakayama Jutarou to the world

- in March 2020 Misa opened her own label called "BgBgM Label"

- she actually worked on setting up her label since 2018 - in the beginning she wanted to make her label as a subsidary of YG for BigBang activities, inspired by Label SJ
- but after certain events happened in 2019, Misa decided to stay independent with her label
- beside her own solo activities, her label focuses on helping Idols (&Groups) leaving their labels or who can't afford enough promotions - the label works under the motto: "Do only what you're comfortable with." - fans have already noticed, that the label also has a 'one big family' vibe
- her first signed artist was Kim Hanbin (B.I) with his own label "131 Label" - since February 2021 she is co-managing boy group A.C.E - on February 20, 2021 it was announced that Got7 has signed with BgBgM Label for group activities, solo work will fall under their respectively signed labels - however JayB officially signed with her in October 2023 also for solo activities
- her goal for 2024 is to open her first audition for trainees - she's currently working together with GDragon on getting the BigBang rights for her label
- beside being the CEO of BgBgM Label, Misa also work as the choreographer

- Misa left YGE as a soloist in January 2020, but she kept her contract as a member of BigBang running - after long discussion with Jiyong, she fully departed from YGE on December 21, 2023 - she officially stated, that she's still part of BigBang
- after depaturing as a solo from YGE, Misa is noticeable more seen on shows: - following their appearance on a special episode, the Kims joined 'The Return of the Superman' as regular cast in Januar 2021, with mostly Misa being shown taking of their son - she also joined the show 'Weekly Idol' as a frequent MC since January 2022 till October 2023 - she also was a guest on talk shows, for example 'The Daebak Show' & 'BamBam's House'
- musically Misa focuses mostly on fulfilling other Artists wishes on Collabs, both as main artist and as featuring artist - she also did some OST for known K-dramas
- following helping BTS with their japanese album 'Face Youself' in 2018, Misa collabs more on producing Japanese comebacks of Kpop Groups and Solos, e.g. Super Junior, Wonho and Stray Kids - also teaches Idols, who make cover performances of BigBang or her solo songs
