"Zara beta get up otherwise you will be late...It's your first day. Get up!" I heard my mom's voice and she was screaming at me.
Ughh!! I don't want to get up yaar. Not this early at least.
But I have to because it is school today. Come on Zara, Get up!
After feeling so lazy, I finally got up and went to my bathroom to get ready. I quickly took a shower and wore my school uniform literally after 1-2 years.
It felt like I was wearing this after decades.

I quickly did my hair and went straight to the kitchen for breakfast.
Mumma gave me bread with butter when I asked her that what's in the lunch for school. She said "maggi".
"Oh god! That brick maggi after so long."
"Yes, but don't share with anyone. It's Covid time. Take precautions."
"Sure Mumma." I said while rolling my eyes.
I got up from the table after having breakfast. I went to take my school bag and was wearing my shoes when my mom said "Where is your mask?"
"Oh sorry, I forgot. I'll take it."
I got up and took a mask from the kitchen.
"And do you take hand sanitizer?" She asked again.
"Nope, but don't worry. I'll take that too." I took the sanitizer bottle too from the kitchen.
"Oh god, you are so careless Zara. I'm worried about you. Please take care of yourself at school."
"Don't worry Mumma, I'll take care of myself I promise. You don't have to worry. Okay bye, now I have to leave or I'll be late."
"Byee beta..Take care of yourself."
I gave her a smile and left the home.
I was feeling excited because I'll meet my friends after so long.
At School-
When I entered the school , the feeling was so different. Everything was same.
I saw my friends and went to hug them but then I stopped because of this fucking covid.
The height of the boys increased and they were looking so tall lol. We all met each other and then talked for half an hour at least.
Then we met our teachers. They didn't teach us because it was the first day and they also don't want to ruin our first day. They were so nice to us.
When recess start, we all were feeling very sad because we have to sit on our own seats and we can't share our food.
But it's okay we have to compromise for few months at least.
