The elephant in the room still wasn't being addressed due to neither of us knowing the details. Yami was a Maddy's that night and I was at home. I know it happened because Rue told Fez and Fez told me.
So here we were, attending to a crying Rue who was in desperate need of caring. Jules had left her at the train station like the selfish bitch she is. Now poor Rue is left hurt but that isn't even the worst part
"That stupid bitch" Rue cried out, "I fucking forgave her, killed Nate for her and she leaves me..? It was her goddamn idea!"
Yami and I looked at each other knowing what we just heard but stayed silent. Rue sniffed and wiped the tears off her face, "Yeah you two heard it right, Kika I'm sure you already know cause of Fez" She sniffed again
"Rue, what happened?" Yami asked carefully
Rue laughed and sighed, "After you left with Maddy, and Fez took you home Kika.. once the formal was over we tricked Nate into coming to this abandoned warehouse in the busy part of town"
For some reason I was holding my breath I couldn't tell you why. It was just my body's natural reaction as Rue told her story. "We ambushed him and Jules knocked him out with some type of metal pipe. Then we tied him up to this pillar, waiting for him to wake up then we shot him and lit his body on fire.."
Rue cried harder after telling us what happened, "I-I know it was wrong..but the drugs we took amplified how much hate I had for him especially what he did to Jules— it felt like the right thing to do at the moment"
"Who knows besides us and Jules" Yami asked whilst rubbing Rue's back
"Fez" She sniffled, "it's too risky for anyone else to know so please please don't tell anyone. Especially not Maddy" Rue said looking at Yami knowing how close the two had gotten
"Of course. I promise" Yami nodded
"So where's the body, Rue?" I mumbled as if someone would hear us. "I called Fez immediately afterward. He brought bags and we put what was left of Nate in the trash bags and duck-taped it...after we dropped Jules off and we dumped his body off"
"You need an alibi for questioning," Yami said already preparing for the worst. She was right, both of us had a good alibi mostly Yami since she was with Maddy.
"I know" Rue sighed, "my mind is so fucked I can't even make up one"
"We'll say after the formal you and Jules went to my house. Fez came to pick you guys up, dropped off Jules and you two went back to his house" I said looking at my sister for approval. "I'll confirm the story and Maddy will confirm I was with her that night" Yami nodded
