Chapter 1 - Meet Luna and Maia

I am sixteen and a junior in high school. I live on planet Earth to escape the First Order which my father; Kylo Ren is commander of. When I was ten years old, the Resistance took me to the Florida Battu base. That is where I started to devote my life to the Resistance. Me and Poe have become great partners when flying. Finn, along with Rey, have taught me much about the Force. Though I have practiced a lot with Kylo Ren, training was much more gentle with these two.

I was sent to a foster center when I was twelve to explore the planet. The center was filled with other children. They aged from 4 to 17. They enrolled me into the local middle school. Things were difficult for me because I was very shy. I didn't know who to trust, so I decided to only open up to people I knew. I did make some friends, some good, some bad. Then Covid 19 came. I were only in seventh grade. When told that school was closing for two weeks, I thought something was off. There was no way a virus as deadly as this could close schools for only two weeks. Through the two weeks and many more months of online schooling, I found out my last year would also be online. This went pretty well. The year was long,  it soon I were able to see Rey, Poe, and Finn again. They had come to the center or rather near the center and trained me more and more. I had to sneak out which was difficult because of all the security cameras.

I was accepted to my dream high school. The school was also five minutes down the road. It also looked over to the water which made getaways easier. I was also told that after Spring Break, I would be doing hybrid schooling. This is where I met my friend Maia.

Maia is a fifteen year old girl who has a lot of energy. She is always the one to go to if you need a laugh or to say "What the fuck?". I met her on the first day of hybrid in gym class. I was sitting in a circle playing follow the leader. The girl across from me dressed in a tan tank top, tan sweatpants with elastic cuffs, and white sneakers, volunteered to be the leader finder. She steeped out and the leader started doing a pattern. When she walked in, she ran into the middle of the circle and started guessing right away. "Is it you?" She asked someone? The person shook their head, and Maia asked another person, "You?" That person shook their head. That's when the two of us made eye contact. "Is it you?" I smiled and shook my head. The girl next to me said, "It was me!" and stared laughing.

Later on, I was at a nail salon just before graduation. I came in and saw Maia walk in. I was seated at the chair across from her and she recognized me immediately. "Do I know you?" I nodded.

"We have gym together. You know Saige."

"Oh yeah! I love Saige."

"She said you chase her with perfume in class?" I asked laughing.

"Ha! Yeah I do that a lot." She said shrugging her shoulders and laughing, and I laughed with her.

Her graduation day was the day before so she was dressed up the next day. I was walking with Saige and we met up with Maia. We all decided to play volleyball together and it is the funniest game ever. Maia and Saige ran to beat each other to get to the run away ball first. I couldn't help but laugh.

Freshmen year came and I found out we were on the same bus, and she doesn't live far from me. Only 30 minutes away which is about five miles (by car of course). I also found out we didn't have any classes together but we were able to see each other at lunch, and of course on the bus. We got to know each other a bit more and soon junior year comes and we were inseparable.

We had two classes together which was our double block and our study hall (So make that three classes). We sat next to each other and teamed up for projects together. It was the best time of my life when I was with her.

Author's Note: Heyyyy! I know this was pretty bland but it gets better. This was just so you could get a feel for the characters I made up.
