CHAPTER 40 - Hang On

"Great..."

I look up and see him shaking his head.

"Shane... I don't know what to say..."
"Do you love him?"

"Why are you asking me this?"
"Because I need to know where I stand with you. You know how I feel about you, my feelings have never changed. But I will not sit around and be held on a string. If you love Liam, tell me now so I can move on. No hard feelings. I'll respect your decision and allow you to live a happy life with him. But if you still love me Sage, tell me now and I will make sure you live the best life you could possibly imagine. I will get up right now, wrap you around me and kiss the shit out of you because that is all I have wanted to do for the longest time."
He walks over to me slowly and stands directly in front of me.

My breathing sitting shallow I feel my stomach fill with what I can only describe as butterflies. My soul pulling me towards him.

"Shane... I don't just have feelings for you, I love you-"
"-good enough for me."

My eyes widen as he wraps his hand around the back of my neck while his other hand gently grabs onto my lower back, lifting me up and into him.

His lips firmly against mine he lifts me up more and my legs wrap around his waist. I throw my arms around his neck as his kiss deepens.

What feels like fireworks going off inside me, he sits me on the counter and he lifts his shirt up over his head and immediately continues kissing me.

His hands slide down over my shoulders, pulling my robe down over my arms, allowing me to slide it further and push it off onto the counter.

I hang my head back feeling his lips run down my neck, over my shoulder and back up to my lips. With one movement, he pulls off both our underwear and continues to kiss me while grabbing onto my outer thigh.

A sudden moan escapes my mouth, feeling him press up against me, filling me slowly.

I grab onto his neck with both hands, deepening my kiss, while wrapping my legs around him more securely.

"Are you okay?" His breathless voice bounces against my lips.

"Yeah." I say hearing my breathing shallow.

He pauses and looks directly into my eyes.
"I love you, Sage." He whispers and immediately continues to kiss me while thrusting deeper.
Unable to keep the pleasure from escaping, Another moan falls from my lip.

"WHAT THE FUCK!"

Both Shane and I stop and look toward the kitchen door. What feels like my blood evaporating seeing Liam storm at us and within a flash of speed, he grabs onto Shane, pulling him away from me and steer his fist through him.

"LIAM!!" I jump off the counter and try to grab onto any of the two but Shane retaliates and I feel their bodies knock me hard, sending me flying toward the floor.

"STOP IT! Shane! Liam!" I feel tears streaming down my face.

"NO! STOP IT PLEASE!" My begging is nothing but hopelessness, I get up seeing Liam and Shane hitting each other as hard as they can.

"HOLY SHIT!" I run towards the room, grab my phone and press in Luke's name.

"PICK UP! PICK UP! LUKE PICK-"
"-H"

"-LUKE PLEASE HELP! THEY ARE BUSY KILLING EACH OTHER, LUKE PLEASE HURRY!"
"What? Who? What are you-"

"-LIAM AND SHANE! THEY ARE FIGHTING! Please hurry!" I beg and run toward the kitchen.

"OH MY FUCK - STOP!!" I throw my phone down and run toward Liam and Shane.

I stop dead seeing Shane holding Liam around the neck, bending him backwards against the kitchen counter with his gun firmly pressed against his head.
