"I am fine, really, no need for a hospital." I say trying to loosen Liams grip around me. I look ahead and see the traffic light suddenly turn yellow.
"Hang on guys!" Luke shouts and I feel my body forcefully being pushed against Liam. "Go straight to casualty." Liam commands, Ignoring my pleading.
"Guys, please it's nothing." I try to squeeze myself between Liam and Ash but Liam's hold is like a straightjacket.
I look at the speedometer and see the needle climbing steadily.
Imagine if this was a real emergency. How much faster would he drive then!?
"Uhm, Luke please can you slow down a bit." I ask, feeling uneasy. My request falls on deaf ears as all I can hear is the sound of the engine.
"Luke, please slow down!" I plead as that night when Shane raced to that safe house starts flashing before me.
My breathing shallow and gaining speed, I feel my heart beating faster, causing a cold sensation to run down my spine.
I NEED TO GET OUT!
SHIT I CANT BREATH!
"Guys-" Barely able to get the words from my mouth, my throat starts closing and I feel my whole body vibrate and darkness closing in on me.
"Say-linn?" Liam's voice sounds riddled with concern as it fades.
Funny hearing him concerned -
•LIAM•
"Say-linn?" I feel her body slowly going limp against me and her eyes shut.
"Hey! Say-linn!" I command her attention by gently tapping her cheek a couple of times.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know. She just passed out." I answer Luke, still trying to wake her.
"Her lips are turning blue." Ash moves over to us and lowers his head towards her mouth.
"Liam! she is barely breathing!" He says sitting upright.
Ash's words sends me into overdrive and I move her over and drop her onto his lap. I dip my head by her mouth and cuff the back of her neck lifting her up.
FUCK!
"Luke, how far!?"
"Almost there. Axel, call the hospital to get ready!"
"Liam!" Ash's voice brings my attention back to Say-linn.
"She is convulsing!" Ash and I move out of the way and place her on her side on the seat.
Ash and I lose our balance as the car comes to a stop.
"She started having a fit and her breathing is shallow." I hear Luke instruct the nurses already busy pulling Say-Linn from the car and placing her on a stretcher.
I slowly get out and everything around me quietens down. I see her disappear into the hospital with Axel and Ash in tow.
"Liam, come on!"
Luke's voice brings me back to reality and we make our way towards the entrance.
"They are not allowing us in with her. We have to wait in the waiting area." Axel says and walks towards a chair. Everyone else follows except Luke who goes towards reception. Knowing him he will try and weasel his way past all rules and regulations.
"And?" I ask, seeing his face taut walking over to us.
"Not budging these people." He says, taking a seat while holding a clipboard in front of him.
