"For now yes. Maple will help us until we figure out the next step." He stands up dusting his hands against his pants. "Let's get dinner started."
I look at the wall clock above the stove and look back at Shane busy taking pots from the cupboard.
"Shane, it's quarter to six... Isn't it a bit early for dinner? Besides, I'm not that hungry."
He pauses for a second and then walks towards me wrapping my waist. "Well, I was going to cook you a proper meal but seeing that you don't want my food... What do you want?"
His eyebrow arches as he sways me side to side. His body pressed firm against me feels like I am melting away. I rest my arms on his shoulders; locking my fingers together I push myself up on my toes and pull his neck down.
"Isn't it obvious?" I stretch up pressing my lips against his. His mouth parts slightly, moving his hands down towards my outer thighs, while walking me back against the counter. He lets out a low growl, lifting me and sitting me down on the counter.
"You have no idea how hard it is for me not to do anything right now." His jaw tightens as another growl falls from his lips. I wrap my legs around his body while dropping my head back. Shivers run from the soft kisses moving to my neck and down to my chest.
"Then stop trying to hold back." I bring my head up and was met by his eyes fixed on mine.
"Sage-"
I press my finger against his lips shaking my head, I run his shirt up; he lifts his arms and I pull his shirt over his head and toss it aside. He holds onto the counter as I slide my hands over his shoulders and down his chest. I pause feeling his heart beat pounding against my hand.
He grips onto my thighs; while lifting me up, he turns and walks to the room.
I embrace him tasting his lips while unbuttoning my shirt and dropping it to the floor. My heart beat rips through my chest as he presses me against the wall; running his lips over my shoulder causing my bra strap to drop. He turns to my other shoulder and slowly pulls at my bra strap until it drops.
I open my eyes feeling his eyes locked on me.
"Sage... I..."
I loosen my grip around his hips quickly and slide down until my feet touch the floor. I reach for his belt and with one movement push his jeans and jocks down.
Placing my hand on his chest I walk him towards the bed and unclip my bra, letting it slide off. His eyes widen as he stumbles backwards and half fall onto the bed.
"Damn..."
His voice sounding husky; I slid my pants down with my underwear and stand in between his legs as I firmly grab his head tilting it up. His touch warms everything inside me as he grabs my hips standing up and lifting me, causing my legs to wrap around.
He turns and lowers me towards the bed stretching his arm out while cuffing me with his other hand. A sudden wave of air rushes through my lungs as my whole body tenses, completely covered in goose bumps feeling him push himself inside.
My hand slides, barely able to hold on to his skin, I dig my fingers deeper in his back. I feel his jaw tighten against my lips as his breathing becomes heavy.
"Am I hurting you?"
His sudden voice sends a shiver running down my spine, I search for his piercing green eyes and my heart fills with terror.
Blue... it's Blue... It's... No... No...
"NIKOLAI GET OFF ME!"
My lungs hurt as I try desperately to get away from him; I squeeze my eyes and feel my cheeks being flooded.
The pressure suddenly lifts off me but I still hear his voice sounding muffled, I realize I was pressing my hands against my ears.
"Sage...Sage! It's me, hey! It's me! It's okay..." I open my eyes and see green eyes staring at me.
"Shane! He... I... I don't know what happend-" I grab his neck pulling myself against him. His warm embrace surrounds me while he wipes my tears and holds my face to look at him.
"It's me... It's okay... You're safe... He is not here."
My mind is playing tricks on me.
"Shane I'm so sorry I don't know what happened..."
He pulls me against his chest, holding my head tightly.
"It's okay... You have been through so much. I understand."
"It's not okay Shane! I want you! I have feelings for you, not HIM! I don't want our first time to end up like this.... I don't want to see his face!" I try to turn away but his grip holds me firmly against him.
"Sage, listen to me... I know... You don't need to be sorry... You're safe and that's all that matters."
