XCIX: tunes apart

it was blocked in my view
just when i look at you
during this little times
i wanna smash walls through

along with this cage in the gym
it's filled with talks and murmurings
i did not listen to any
i just want you to look at me

and at my opposite extremes
also connect all the linings
we've been a mile apart
but distance slices my heart

murmurings echoes across the hall
stage in front of me
birds, chirping will they
land on my bare feet
the least time
with you stay fleet
with walls i cannot trample
but i stumble upon on my rear-view

at my peripheral's edge
where my eyes fill not my gaze
where all my musings fall onto place
where each other's heartbeat
couldn't track its own pace

i tied the knot at—it couldn't pile up my pieces whole
i look where you at—my bland iris & pupil's gazes pull
i tried, i tried again. oh, dear—i kid not
my veins not shrivel—come after me not

dear music, struck your tune again
dear air, hand me in your lungs again
dear footsteps, walk on my path again
help—help me trough this menace
dear halls, fit me inside my room again—
for i said it over & over
that i'll let my snippets of life
my dear flesh
to be soaked in sunlight
to bask in the moonlight
when i've felt your heart-veins
beat into mine's racing.
