i woke up today not feeling ruben by my side. i got ready for the day, and put on a floral onesie, which showed off of my baby bump. (same size as in the photo)

i figured ruben already had his breakfast since there were dishes in the sink. i wasn't hungry so i went to the living room to see if ruben was there, but he wasn't. i'm not familiar with his house so i decided to call him to ask him where he was.
"hey love you okay " he panted
"yeah, where are you?" i asked while trying to follow the sound of his voice.
"in the gym" he breathed out
"and where is that?" i laughed
"i'll be done soon, i'll come to you" he chuckled before ending the call.
i just left my phone in the kitchen then when to the living room to watch netflix. i was already able to watch a full movie and ruben still wasn't back. that was strange...
i went to the kitchen to grab my phone so i could call him, but i found him looking at something on my phone. "what are you doing?" i giggled then put my arms around his neck so i could see what he was looking at, but he quickly turned my phone off then got up and left.
"ruben what's going on?" i asked him but he just ignored me and stormed upstairs. "ruben w-" i followed him, but he just shut the door at my face, leaving me in shock.
"ruben what's going on?" my voice cracked as tears flooded my eyes. he still ignored me, so i made my way downstairs to see what made him so angry.
i flipped my phone over to see 2 messages from dominik.

pookie😋🩷 wanna come over? since ruben is probably in 6m ago portugal now or something
oh shit. ruben thought i was cheating on him.
"hey athena ho- are you okay?" he asked a soon as he saw me crying.
"no, ruben saw your texts and now he thinks i'm cheating on him" i cried softly.
"what they weren't even that bad- oh shit my bad" he chuckled awkwardly. "so what are you doing to do?" he asked.
"i don't know, i think i'll just give him space then try to explain it to him" i put my head in my hands. "i don't think he'll believe me though, the contact name i have for you makes it even worse" i laugh-cried.
"so what're you going to do?" Dominik tried not to laugh.
"I don't know, i guess the only option i have is to give him some space, since he basically locked himself in his room, then i'll try talking to him." i sighed as i wiped my tears.
